Hideaway cottage is located right on the shore of the pristine waters of Päijänne's Ristinselkä. The cottage terrace has a beautiful lake view. You can relax in your own sauna. In winter, you can get to the ski slope directly from your door, weather permitting, or you can ski down the slopes of nearby Riihivuori. Play tennis on a rubber asphalt court, rent electric bikes, sup boards, snowshoes, kayaks, fish or hike while enjoying the spectacular scenery.
We, the host couple and our dog Uhku, live on the slope behind the cottage.

The space
The cottage sauna is spacious and has a magnificent view of the lake. The sauna has an electrically heated Harvia stove. The loft is accessed by a 120 cm diameter spiral staircase with a child gate at the top. The loft has a 180 cm double bed with 4 storage drawers, bedside tables, an armchair and a wardrobe. The loft also has a 120 cm children's bed that can be converted into a crib. The bathroom has a wall-mounted toilet, sink & cabinet, high cabinet, rain shower and washing machine.
The dressing room/hallway has coat racks and a portable luggage rack. The living room has an Asko sofa bed, a folding cabinet with dishes and glasses, 4 stools, a multifunctional microwave, a dishwasher and a cooking area (portable induction stove) and a fridge with a freezer compartment. The living room also has a Tapio Anttila multifunctional sofa table, which provides a large tray. TV. WiFi and radio are included.

The living room has access to a magnificent 14 m2 glass terrace with 4 chairs and a table, as well as a terrace fireplace with an oven. The outdoor terrace has 2 sunbeds. In front of the cottage, facing the lake, there is a garden swing. The cottage's tenants have their own Weber grill and side table.

The Hideaway Glamping dock is shared by the cabin's tenants, the owner and luxury campers, as well as a rowing boat for which you can rent an electric outboard motor. A rental pontoon is under construction on the dock. From the dock, you can swim in deep water using the swimming stairs. In winter, you can refresh yourself in the open water. The beach has a hard bottom. In the yard, there is a wood-heated beach sauna, which you can book separately. You can also order a peat treatment sauna and combine it with a massage (to be ordered in advance).
Sup boards, electric off-road bikes, kayaks, tennis shifts, and snowshoes are available for rent.
The owner lives in the house above/behind the cottage on the slope. Hideaway Glamping also has a high-quality 20 m2 luxury tent with its own terrace and a 2-person tent on the viewing rock.
You can order a luxury breakfast in the cottage.

Other things to note
The owners have a friendly lap dog that moves on the property. If you're staying with a pet, we'll charge a separate $20 cleaning fee.
