The Space

Looking for a quiet zen-like place in the centre of Prague? Perfect as a short term place while for business or pleasure. My newly refurbished loft is the right choice!

The apartment is fully furnished with a terrace facing a green hill and very centrally located, offers a study with a desktop computer and printed ready to use, high-speed internet, 42" LG TV with satellite connection and a DVD player, fully equipped kitchen. Apart from the king size bed in the bedroom, the couch in the living room can be converted into a comfortable double bed for additional one or two guests. A single inflating mattress that can be also used especially for a child. If you are looking for more space, I have a studio apartment right below this loft for rent as well.

My place is very close to the historical centre (15 mins walk to Mala Strana - Lesser Quarter, Charles Bridge etc. - tram number 12 that leaves from "Na Knizeci" few minutes away from the house or from Andel, the stop by the large shopping centre, tram 22 can then take you from "Malostranske namesti" to the top of Prague Castle "Prazsky Hrad"station and you can then walk thru the castle all the way down back to the town, it is one of my favourite things to do in Prague in term of sightseeing with great views and Prague's history). The neighbourhood surrounded by great facilities and shops thanks to a large mall (5 mins walk) where you can find a movie theatre, large grocery store and many different restaurants, pubs, bars, shops and other services. Thanks to the fact that my appartment is in Prague 5, you can enjoy the adventage of free street parking in front of the building with no struggle if you drive on your trip. This can become quite a difficulty if you stay in the historical part, where most of parking is reserved for residents and paid parking can become quite expensive in such case. There is of course a possibility of secured paid parking near by if that is what is what it needed (CZK 250,-/day = 24 hours, CZK 30,-/hour or CZK 1800,-/month.

Easy access to the airport (20 mins drive) and public transport (3 mins walk). Reliable taxi transport from the airport can be organised for about 25 - 30 EUR on request.

For the interested guests, I can provide you with a 50 % discount card for the Prague's river boat trips including food and drinks. For more information about different trip options and timing, please visit (website hidden) and book your boat trip.

I believe my loft is a great place for visitors to enjoy Prague and feel like home. You gonna love the terrace!

  • it was a lovely apartment and we had our good time staying there . Kristina is a very good host and she helped us a lot with our problem staying in Prague .

  • Kristina's apartment was perfect for our stay in Prague - far enough away from the tourist crowds but an easy journey to the centre. Only 5 minutes' walk to the nearest metro station and tram stop (Prague public transport is cheap and efficient) and a couple more minutes to a huge shopping centre with a Tesco for picking up some provisions. We ate locally 3 out of our 4 nights here and had very good meals - the Staropramen brewery is a definite recommendation!

Kristina was very prompt replying to all queries and emails and organised a very friendly and reliable taxi driver to take us from and to the airport. She even texted whilst we were there to check that everything was ok.

The apartment is light and airy with a lovely terrace (bit too chilly for us to use it unfortunately). Comfortable bed. Decent shower. The wifi is fast and reliable. We could only find one English language tv channel.

Sorry we didn't meet you Kristina but thank you for a fab weekend in your wonderful city!!

  • I stayed in this apartment for a longer time, and it was a very pleasant experience. This place has an amazing view in the back. It makes you feel like staying home for a coffee is always the good idea. It has everything you need. Beside that, Kristina is a very dedicated host. She always replies emails and messages asap and super nice as well. Won't hesitate to come back here again.

  • beautiful house. just like the picture.
Kristina was a great with prompt feedback!
one thing, the house is located quite far from the city center and the way home can be a bit dark(maybe it felt like that since I come from such a packed city). It's OK for couples but not sure for single girls traveling.

  • I loved the apartment everything is there for your needs and Kristina is a great host and I felt very comfortable and safe in the apartment.
Within walking distance there is a huge shopping complex and the nearest metro/tube is only a few minutes away.
Everything is to a very high standard within the apartment and the roof terrace is stunning even in this time of year, and via email Kristina was on hand to answer any questions, I would recommend this apartment and very thankfully I found it myself.

  • Home is not just a physical space.. it is the finding of a harmony and ease of living within any four walls that make you feel "I am exactly where i need to be at this moment" . In Kristina's lovingly done loft we found more of a sense of "coming home" than we ever could have hoped to find in any new place in a strange city. At the end of the day.. after being done with the days explorations it was always such a pleasure to walk through the welcoming doors ..the perfect place to just relax and rejuvenate for the next day. And its not just the comfort of the loft that makes it so amazing.. its settings are peaceful and private and its location is just perfect for exploring the city at your own pace.
Our stay was made even more comfortable by Kristinas presence and her constant unfailing attention to detail.. she literally knows how to fix things even before they break! She's a wizard at hosting.. and an absolute pleasure to be around.. we were happy to be able to spend some time with her and come away feeling we had made a new friend in Prague.. one we hope to meet again in our travels in some other part of the world too some day perhaps.
At any rate we are definitely going back some day.. and when we do we really cant think of or recommend a better place to stay in Prague than at Kristinas one of a kind "home"

I work and travel outside of Czech Republic most of the time and so my apartment is free for guests. It's a cozy loft fully with a terrace facing into a greenery still very central, equipped with a computer, internet, satellite TV, kitchen includes a Nespresso coffee machine. The place is very close to the historical center surrounded by great facilities and shops thanks to a large mall where you can find a movie theatre, large grocery store and many different restaurants, pubs, bars, shops and other services. Easy access to the airport. I believe my loft is a great place for visitors to enjoy Prague and their own privacy.
