We are a married couple with a 2 bedroom 1920's bungalow for rent. The bedroom has a queen bed, central heat/air, and a ceiling fan. It features wood floors and dark curtains to keep the light out. Our accommodation sleeps up to two. Your room has clean towels, some toiletries, a hairdryer, hot water teapot, coffee and tea, and some snacks, but if you'd like something else, we can accommodate. We have homemade preserves for sale made with local fruit. :-)
If you are looking for a more private place without a shared bathroom, please consider our newly renovated apartment located in the backyard:

Our home features: a private outdoor entertaining/lounge/kitchen area, a hot tub, a living room, dining room, wireless internet, free street parking, washer/dryer, kitchen, books, games, weights and yoga mats, and one shared bathroom. Guests have access to the rest of our home.
We have 2 cats who are young and very social and active. Please keep your door closed and let us know if you do not want the cats in the room, otherwise they will come and go if it is open, so up to you. Someone will come by to take care of the cats if we're gone so you don't have to.
Smoking is allowed outdoors only though we are not smokers. We are gay friendly, gluten-free/dairy/corn free friendly, and open to hosting naturists/nude sunbathers.
If we're gone, please make sure the master bed door stays open so Bear and Jax have access to their kitty door. Jax (the bigger one) is 1 year old and very active. Just leave your door closed if you don't want him to bother you. :-) Bear is the smaller one. He usually loves purring and cuddling. We only leave the guest door open in the winter so the heat circulates better. Please keep closed as you wish.
Guests have access to most everything in our home: kitchen, bathroom, hot tub, backyard, toiletries, wifi, books, board games, etc. Please be respectful of shared spaces.
Interaction with Guests

Other Things to Note
Our home is 90 years old- please be forgiving of squeaky floors, creaky doors, dusty crevices and other imperfections that make our home unique. :-)
We do live here and our home is cozy and not sterile/perfect and cleaned to perfection. We do our best, especially with pets, but please let us know if there is something you require for comfort.
If you would like to use the hot tub, please provide us with 24 hours notice. It is generally balanced and hot, but some seasons like summer we turn the heat off.
Please be courteous, kind, and pick up after yourself. We recycle and compost-the garbage and recycling bins are located as pull outs inside the kitchen island. You are welcome to hand wash dishes or put them in the dishwasher for cleaning.
Please be considerate of smoking as I have asthma. Outside only and close nearby windows if they are open and dispose of your cigarettes in the outside garbages in the driveway when you're done.
We are energy and water conscious. Please use the heat/AC sparingly. The hot water is run on solar in the summer, so try not to take extended showers on cloudier days. Please be courteous of bathroom use on work days so we can shower and get ready in a timely manner.
