Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • Michele and her husband are wonderful and their home is beautiful. Everything was clean and comfortable. We had a wireless internet connection, a private bathroom; and access to a furnished kitchen (with a fridge providing plenty of room for grocery items) and a washer and dryer in the finished basement. I plan to be back when I am in Cleveland for appointments.

  • Michele and Robert were such wonderful hosts, very congenial and helpful with local directions and information. We were very comfortable in the beautifully renovated historic home so close to the Case Western Reserve Campus and all the cultural attractions. We walked all day Saturday to see the Botanical Garden and the Art Museum (free to the public) and to lunch in Little Italy at La Dolce Vita. They must have ordered the weather especially for us. Everything was perfect. We came to see a concert at Severance Hall (also walkable) and left having met new friends.

  • Michele is a welcoming host and I enjoyed my stay there. The room was really neat and organize, it had everything ready for you with a clean bathroom. I am definitely thinking about her place again when next break comes up.

  • The room was just as described and very clean and neat. The home is beautiful as is Michelle and her family. They were very accommodating and friendly. I enjoyed my stay and would return without second thought!

  • Beautiful home, convenient location to University/Hospitals. Enjoyed staying with Michele and would do so again!

  • You cannot go wrong by staying here. I had the room on the first floor and it was wonderful -- very clean, well decorated -- an it had an independent entrance. Parking was very easy to find on the street. I would definitely return my next time in Cleveland!

  • This was our second time staying with Michele and Robert. Like last time, they were completely generous with their time and resources. The beds were super-comfortable, the room was cozy and warm, the house was quiet, and it was luxurious to have a full, private bathroom. This time, Michele introduced us to the other guests (there were none last time) and we all ended up eating dinner together! What fun! The location can't be beat if, like us (and some of the other guests) you're visiting Cleveland Institute of Music or anywhere else in the University Circle area; it was a two-minute drive!

  • Michele´s place really was, with no exaggeration, our home away from home. She is truly a great host, but we can´t leave hear husband unmentioned, since he was also extremely helpful and a kind person. We arrived late at Cleveland. Starving, we tried to get food delivered to the house, but weather conditions that day did not make it possible. Michele and her husband got in their car and went outside for some takeout (just for us, since they had dined earlier). A welcome like that would set the tone for the rest of our stay. It is rare to find people that get out of their way to ensure someone else´s comfort, but this is not rare at Michele´s house. Aside from that, her house is full of life. During our time there, she was hosting several other guests, which gave us a chance to share experiences with other people (this led to our attending a great concert at Cleveland, which was brought to our attention by another guest), laughs, and a feel of an extended family that no five star hotel could ever match.
The main kitchen is really spacious so there´s room for everyone and it never feels crowded and the bedroom was really nice and tidy. To make an already long story short, we are extremely grateful for her hospitality. We are people from warm (mostly hot) weather and Cleveland may have been cold when we were there, but Michele´s house and Michele´s family never were.

  • Michele's house was beautiful, the room impeccable and very comfortable, and her family was delightful. We were warmly received and got good restaurant recommendations. The art museum was a short walk away. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Cleveland.

  • My son and I enjoyed staying with Michelle again in Cleveland. Her house is even more comfortable than the last time we were there. With the key-less entry and the ability to park off the street, there were no concerns about what time we might arrive or depart.

Also, Michele had upgraded the room we had stayed in last time, and had included seating space, a desk, better lighting as well as a TV. It continues to be a very pleasant and comfortable place to stay. The shower and bathroom is luxurious and everything is spotless.
