I leave that up to my guests. Sometimes I never get to meet the guests other times we chat every day. I consider myself friendly but conscious of others privacy.

A very quaint spot in a quiet neighborhood. Our host was available to us as needed and very responsive to our requests. Thank you for a an effortless trip!
John was a great host. Check in was very easy and the place was great when I arrived. Really nice and clean apartment, looks better than the pictures. He even went out of his way to save a spot for my car due to the crowdedness from the St. Patricks Day parade. The location is great, located right in Hillcrest with a bunch of good eateries and bars on 5th ave. The walk downtown was really pleasant and easy also. And two blocks away there's an awesome suspension bridge that you should check out if you stay here. Would definitely stay again.
John was available when we arrived and everything was ready for us. He and his wife were gracious hosts. We look forward to staying at this location on our next trip to San Diego.
John communicated well and gave us check-in instructions well before our arrival. The apartment was small but cosy. Beds were OK, a bit soft for a big guy like me but not at all a problem. Since we had rain and cold weather during our stay the cottage got a bit cold (John offered a second heater). The kitchen was well equipped and the location was very convenient close to restaurants in Hillcrest, Balboa Park and downtown. If we come back to San Diego we would gladly stay here again.
John was very responsive and accommodating for our short trip. His place was cozy and pet friendly. Location was nice with a good amount of street parking.
John's place is exactly as described. In a nice location with a really cool local market nearby where I picked up some blood oranges in the morning (about 4 blocks away).
No problems at all. Bed was comfortable. John was accommodating with check-in/check-out which I appreciate.
Pleasant experience overall.
I am originally from the UK. My wife is a nitve san diegan, but has strong Irish ties. We are both teachers heading towards retirement. We love the San diego restaurents and our two small daogs.
