  • Collected from the airport as arranged. No refreshments on arrival but it was 11.00pm. Room was clean and a radiator was provided as it was cold in the mornings and evenings. Marrakech is a real experience and a riad is the perfect place to stay. If we visited again I think we would pay a little more and go slightly up-market. Went on a memorable trip to the Atlas Mountains to see the waterfalls but you need proper footwear and to be reasonably fit as it is steep. The roof-top terrace was lovely and even though we went 2nd-6th February 2014 the temperatures reached 26 degrees. Everyone we met seemed to have got lost as it is a maze of narrow streets filled with stalls, mopeds, donkeys, bicycles and people. If you stop to look at a map people offer to show you the way but they all expect to be tipped. We felt safe and most people are friendly. You do have to be careful of the traffic as it is chaotic. There are loads of souks to explore. Had a nice meal with wine at the Palais Donab. The rooftop terraces are a must in the Medina and the freshly squeezed orange juice is delicious. We enjoyed all of our meals and would visit the city again.

  • Absolutely loved the place, everyone there was friendly, knowledgable and very helpful. The riad itself is beautiful and peaceful. Would definitely stay there again

  • This riad is the perfect place for a group of 10 like ours to have a chilled time away from the hustle and bustle of the medina. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and the breakfasts were wonderful. The pool was small, dark and very cold in October so not terribly appealing but the guest rooms were beautifully furnished and well equipped. The best part is the rooftop terrace which is beautiful and relaxed with lovely seating areas. We would all certainly return here again.

  • I would not recommend this Riad. First of all, I arrived in the Medina after taking a taxi from the bus station and had no concept of where to go and I called the number provided on my reservation and no one spoke English so it was very difficult to communicate, I asked someone to help me translate so someone could come and meet me to show me where the Riad was and the person at the Riad said no they could not come and meet me. I arrived to my room to lay down for a nap after a long day of traveling and there was a ton of noise so I had to ask for a fan. My room had a window opening to the street and even after closing the window the noise was still so loud, kids screaming and playing in the alley, motorbikes, crying babies etc. I asked to switch rooms and they said no they were going to be occupied soon, they were not occupied at all the whole time I was there. Second, The wifi was not working in my room and was going in and out in most parts of the house. As that was my only way to communicate and plan the rest of my trip it was very annoying, and after i asked about it several times, still nothing changed. I was very frustrated. Lastly, the breakfast is bread and yogurt and the doors don't lock.

I would like to say that the Riad itself is beautiful and very peaceful inside - despite my room. But the pictures are not the same as the place itself, it wasn't as well kept as the pictures make it out to be. I had a guide help me out in the Medina for one morning and that was very nice. I also had someone accompany me to the Ouzoud Falls in the desert. He didn't know where to go so we kept stopping every 20 min to ask someone if we were going in the right direction. We got lost, got a ticket and it took 4 hours as opposed to 2.5 hours. If you don't French this is not the place for you, and it is not a luxury hotel but the price of one. Therefore i would not recommend.

  • My boyfriend and I had the best time at the riad. the stuff were super nice and welcoming. a taxi was organised to pick us from the airport late at night. the room was spectacular. nice big bed and bath and decorated very well. the riad was a beautiful terrace where we spend a lot of our time. the riad is very close to the main square and if you wanted to go on an adventure the staff are very helpful and will help you organise it. all in all we had an amazing time and would recommend our friends to stay here. xx
