Renovated historic farmhouse in quiet neighborhood near racetrack, shopping, restaurants features modern amenities and 19th century charm.

Our guest bedrooms are largely furnished with carefully chosen antiques and original folk art. Please be gentle. Absolutely NO drinks or food permitted in the rooms.

Guest rooms share bathroom, per traditional boarding house custom. Please be respectful with your towels and toiletries. Space is provided for them.

One full-size (double) bed in each guest room. Listing is not entire house. Host lives and works onsite.

Guest access
Guests will enjoy sitting in our gazebo as the day draws to an end and shadows fall before moving indoors to watch their favorite shows on a large screen TV in the Great Room or avail themselves of free wifi.

Montrose Farms' beautifully landscaped gardens include a large pond featuring a waterfall and koi in surroundings conducive to quiet meditation or conversation. (Accessible only when host is present due to dogs.)

Sorry: kitchen use is not permitted at this time. Been burned whenever I relax the rule, so it is strict now.

Access to barns and pastures is strictly prohibited for your safety and that of the animals.

During your stay
Interaction with host is at your discretion, but host lives & works on the property & is available to answer questions and provide information about the area and how to get around. Host respects the privacy of all guests and won't intrude if you prefer solitude.

This is a working farm. Chores start early in the morning. While Host tries to be as quiet as possible, there can be noise from animals and equipment before 8 am.

Check-in is 5-10 pm. If you need a different arrival time, please ask for accommodation. Please alert host to expected arrival time.

Check-out is 10 am. Guests leaving after 10 may be charged for an additional day unless prior arrangements have been made.

Other things to note
Although house cleaning is meticulous, due to the number of cats & dogs in the house, if you have allergies or are not comfortable with animals, this is not a good location for you.

Recently added air purifiers, but there will still be some pet fur, despite rigorous cleaning.

Recently added memory foam mattress topper to enhance your comfort.

This is a vegan household.

Please be gentle with things. Much of the furniture is antique.
Absolutely NO drinks or food in the rooms.

Please check with host before opening the bedroom windows, as the A/C or heat may be on.

Host will try to accommodate reasonable requests.

**Due to resident animals, service animals are not allowed out of safety concerns. Sorry!
