This great apartment in a historic building is on a gorgeous, brownstone lined street. It's minutes from every subway line you could want and the trains of Atlantic Terminal, gets great light, and has comfy couches in living room for more space.
I love my one bedroom! It's on the third floor of a 8 unit brick building in a great neighborhood in Brooklyn -- Boerum Hill, and is near tons of great shops, bars, and brunch places, such as Ganso and Building on Bond. It's also a 10 minute walk from Cobble Hill, a 15 minute walk from Park Slope, a 7 minute walk from Barclays Center and on literally every subway line you could want to get into Manhattan in 5-10 minutes. It also has high ceilings, big windows, and old fashioned touches like a big kitchen sink and hardwood floors. Its 3 minutes from the A/C, 4 minutes from the 2/3/4/5, 5 minutes from the B/Q/R and 6 minutes from Atlantic Terminal and the D/N/R. It gets a lot of sunlight from its big windows, and is quiet, since it faces the back of the building.
You will have access to the whole apartment, as I will not be there. The bed in the bedroom, which is a queen, sleeps two. There's also a queen sized air mattress.

Alana's apartment is super cute and in a great neighborhood with extremely easy access to all train lines in any direction. You'll definitely enjoy your stay in Brooklyn!
Perfect spot for my sister and her daughter to stay on their Thanksgiving visit to our house in Boerum Hill. comfortable and easy.
Host was very helpful in providing check-in and key retrieval details.
This was my first time using airbnb which I did at my son's suggestion .
I don't know if my experience was a general one or specific to this apartment, however I doubt that I will use Airbnb again
The dwelling was as advertised.
I had difficulty getting keys to work, and found it surprising that there was no closet space to hang clothes , and so many personal items around. Did not realize I had to buy my own soap. I only found one bath towel which I assumed was for me but wasn't sure, so I borrowed some from my son.
I certainly don't want this note to jeopardize Alana's ability to rent again. The apartment was light filled and pleasant as advertised.
I think I am better off staying in a hotel...airbnb might be more suitable for a younger more adaptable individual
Good luck with your concept, and thank Alana for providing her space,
Everything was ideal with Alana. She was in regular communication and very helpful in getting me access and answering questions. Highly recommended. The place was great, quiet, clean and comfortable. Her bed was very comfortable.
I did try to watch the television and got hung up but that would be my only negative comment.
Alana was a lovely host and her place was very comfortable. She was quick and responsive in communications, which made things easy. We actually booked our stay to begin the same day that another guest was leaving. This didn't leave enough time for Alana to call her cleaning person, so she kindly gave us a nice discount to sweeten the deal. My husband and I stayed at her apartment for several nights. We were there during some of the hottest days of the summer, so her air conditioner (which works great) was very useful. We especially appreciated that her kitchen is fully stocked with all kinds of tools and appliances since we love to cook. The location is also nice because it's easy to access downtown Brooklyn and trains to Manhattan. Everything worked fine - internet, TV, etc. We'd definitely stay here again!
The apartment worked out very well. It is exactly as pictured -- roomy with cozy furniture. The ceiling fans kept the rooms cool. There is air conditioning but the fans were enough. The location is very convenient to the subway and restaurants. I'd definitely stay here again. In fact, I tried to rebook but unfortunately the dates weren't available.
Good location on a quiet block, but next to the conveniences of the Atlantic Terminal area, and an easy walk to many surrounding neighborhoods. The pictures accurately portray the space -- although high ceilings make it feel airy and more spacious than it actually is. If using the airbed it fits comfortably in the middle of the living room. Kitchen is functional and includes a small eating space. The host is responsive but is pretty hands-off since she's traveling on business. She gives you plenty of points of contact in case something goes wrong, but we never had to use them.
