  • My friends and I (a group of ten in total) stayed at Stonehaven for a ski weekend at Hunter. The house was great - fun, quirky/shabby chic, creepy (in a good way) and cozy. We cooked and ate big meals together in the large open kitchen, relaxed by the fireplace listening to records and playing board games (one night we watched a movie on the projector), and hung out in the hot tub (we all fit in it at once). Four of the couples stayed in the bedrooms, and one couple stayed in the living room. There was ample space for everyone. Nora was super responsive to all my emails/questions leading up to the stay, which was really helpful. As a result, we didn't have to contact her at all during the stay because we didn't have any major issues, though I have no doubt she would have been responsive if we had. We definitely plan on coming back!

  • My friends and I rented Stonehaven for a winter ski weekend and it was the best! We spent most of our time in the kitchen cooking and eating delicious meals. The open format with an island and dining table made the kitchen really cozy. We also spent a lot of time in the living room by the fire listening to records - the record collection has a little bit for everyone (Bob Dylan, Wu-Tang, Bill Cosby). The hot tub was great at night.

Overall, the house was very lived-in and thoughtfully decorated. It felt like being in a friend's house while they were away for the weekend. All of the necessities were there, including a few extra blankets and plenty of kitchen stuff. Some of the rooms (especially the doll room!) were very trippy and we appreciated the artsy decor.

I'm excited to come back and see what it looks like during the summer!

  • There's something so wonderful and warm about Nora's farmhouse. It is truly lived in--unlike some airbnb homes-- which gives it soul and warmth. It has wonderful and unique details, and you can tell they've really put their energy and heart into making it the best it can be. If we're lucky we'll be back again and again.

  • This was our second visit to the Stonehaven Farmhouse and it won't be our last! Look no further for a creative, cozy, fun place to unwind with friends and escape the city. Plenty adventures to be had in the area, but honestly, we couldn't help but stay in. Nora and Jac have curated the ultimate cabin experience. Thanks guys!

  • We had such a great getaway at Nora's cabin. The outdoor pizza oven was the highlight. I recommend bringing your own dough or buying some from a pizzeria like we did. The grounds were so relaxing, as the house was just a quick walk from a tiny river. Nora was also available for any questions within minutes by text. That's rare. Highly recommend this place. Thanks again.

  • This place is amazing :) We arrived at the farmhouse as the sun was setting- it was one of the most amazing sunsets of my life... Walking into the house and exploring the rooms is like a treasure hunt. Nora and her man have turned this charming old home into an art-lover's dream. Each room has its own direction and story. Our dog had a blast running around the yard...In short, all was even better than described. A million thumbs up and we hope to come back soon.

  • Nora's quirky farmhouse was certainly quirky. It seemed like a work in progress but a glorious one at that.

The upstairs rooms were all themed with creative decor and the property/fire pit/hot tub, etc. was amazing!

If you do make it up to this area I HIGHLY recommend driving over to Kaaterskill Falls and doing the hike.

    Thanks again!

  • This is a really great and quirky old farmhouse. So much good communal indoor and outdoor space--we had a group of 8 and it felt like there was lots of room to spare. The hot tub and fire pit made for fun days and nights lounging outside.

Super location, between Phoenicia and Roxbury. Good hiking (and a great little creek) within walking distance. The house was really well stocked with all the odds and ends we needed. Nora was a great host--incredibly responsive. Definitely recommend this lovely farmhouse to anyone looking to get away upstate.

  • Nora's Catskill house was amazing! Everyone in our party had a really really awesome time. The house is equipped with everything you could imagine for the perfect holiday weekend- pizza oven, the comfiest hot tub with rainbow disco night lights, bread machine, lots of rooms, projector, record player, hammock, games, river across the road, etc etc. Nora was super accommodating, helpful and responsive. We could not have asked for anything more!
