And you can retreat to the top of the house whenever you wish. Or you can just stay close and enjoy the life in and around Table on Ten and its friends.
Inez was a lovely host! Very welcoming and provided us with lots of great tips on fun ways to spend our days, and even loaned us some tubes to float down the creek in! The attic is such a special space too. Very cozy and spacious at the same time. The food in the restaurant is delicious. Some of the best pizza I've had in a long time.
Can't wait to come back for another visit!
I loved my Table On Ten experience! Inez was there to greet me when I arrived, and she escorted me to my room, an utterly charming and spacious room at the top of the building. I slept on linen sheets, soaked in a claw foot tub and read books at a beautiful wooden table looking out over a country road. In the morning I traveled downstairs to have breakfast in the restaurant where I dined on homemade granola, locally made yogurt and the best cup of coffee I've had in a long time. It was heavenly. Inez could not have been more welcoming, kinder or prettier for that matter!
Briefly on the area: Bloomville is definitely in the middle of nowhere (having come from NYC), but there is plenty to do in the area. We only planned a couple activities, such as driving to Hunter for extreme ziplining and climbed the fire tower on Mount Utsayantha. Driving through the beautiful Catskills and seeing the tiny towns that dot the area was enough fun in itself for us. Can't wait to come back and see/do more in the area!
Table on Ten:
I didn't think it was possible for the room to be more beautiful or the food more delicious than it all looked in the photos, but WOW. The attic was a spacious and beautifully decorated weekend getaway. The bed was very comfortable and there were screens on all the windows so we could get a breeze if needed (no a/c, but there was a large floor fan we used briefly one night). LOVED having the record player in the room.
Inez and the entire staff of Table on Ten were warm and welcoming. It was such a wonderful experience to leave our room and have breakfast and dinner right downstairs at the restaurant, and the food is absolutely to die for, to boot. We went to both Friday and Saturday pizza nights, and would recommend all four pizzas and three pies we tried. We were able to keep a running tab with the restaurant so we could close out at the end of each day, or after the whole weekend, if we wished. They have a side yard with picnic tables and strands of lights in the trees where we ate dinner both nights, and they had a musician on Saturday night. So lovely! We loved taking our dessert and last drinks up to the attic for the end of the night. For breakfast I HIGHLY recommend the eggs in a pan and the prosciutto sandwich, and my boyfriend got the cheese and pickle sandwich both mornings and loved it.
The whole Table on Ten experience was beyond incredible. If you're interested in this listing, you should plan a trip there ASAP. I cannot endorse it enough. We will definitely be back.
Inez was an excellent hostess, taking time out of her busy schedule running her cafe/restaurant to welcome me and make me feel comfortable. The room was charmingly rustic and inviting, and the bed was super comfy. The tub was delightful. Everything was clean, and fresh, as it should be. The pizza on Friday and Saturday nights is excellent, and the picnic atmosphere in the garden outside was delightful.
Had a wonderful two nights in the attic at Table on Ten. It is a huge space which is charmingly decorated. And being right upstairs from Table on Ten is fantastic, whether you're fortunate enough to be there for Pizza Night, or just for taking advantage of a great breakfast/lunch option.
Inez was a fantastic host, making everything easy as could be including helpful suggestions of places to eat and things to do.
The one thing to note is that it is an attic, and given that there's no air conditioning, it can get rather warm up in the room during the day. Once we properly situated the fan to draw in the outside air, it became perfectly pleasant, but walking into to an ~85 degree room wasn't very pleasant.
Inez was wonderful, very welcoming, as was her staff. The room was great, and we loved the spaciousness and simplicity. It was convenient, as we purchased our meals there as well. The meals were outstanding.
The rail to trail path made walking enjoyable, although there was little else around the immediate area.
The only drawback was the traffic noise early in the morning. TIP: Bring noise cancelling headphones!
We enjoyed our stay at Table on Ten. The description of the room was perfect. There is nothing better than taking a soak in the tub, listening to records, and just relaxing. Quiet little Bloomville was adorable. I must mention the cafe at Table on Ten had a lovely menu, the coffee was fantastic, and pizza was delicious. Inez + team are great hosts and we wish her much success!

About the Host, Inez
I'm from Holland. I live in the village of Bloomville in the Catskills but I wander around Brooklyn every couple of weeks. I have a café in the village - Table on Ten - which also serves as a community gathering place and somewhere to experiment with locally sourced food.
