Beautiful, sunny top floor of 1860's house in the village of Bloomville, Northwestern Catskills.
Open-plan, airy, bright, private, with king-size hand-made bed, sitting/reading area, windows on all sides, exposed beams.
Private, en-suite bathroom with free-standing claw-foot tub.
Wireless satellite internet, Tivoli audio radio/iPod dock.
The room is the whole third floor of the renowned café Table on Ten in the heart of a small Catskills village. The café was recently featured in Martha Stewart Living, The New York Times, Wilder Quarterly, Remodelista, designtripper and the Wall Street Journal. The attic inherits the cafe's style and aesthetic - clean, simple, open, friendly. By staying on with us, you become a de facto member of the amazing community that congregates downstairs; venture down and enjoy the food (gathered from local farms, dairies and producers), join in a workshop, browse around the microshop, or just sit, drink coffee, read or work at your laptop. We offer a discount to our upstairs guests. And you can retreat to the top of the house whenever you wish. Come down to sample the pizzas from the wood fired oven on Friday and Saturday evenings, participate in special dinners, workshops, other events. Or just lie back and take it easy.
Relaxing or deep-muscle bodywork, private/semi-private yoga and Pilates exercise is also available on site from Victoria Lundell, at reasonable rates, in our own designated room. Bookable through Table on Ten in advance.
Whilst not strictly a bed & breakfast, easy access to Table on Ten during its working hours (Wednesday through Sunday), facilitates you being able to enjoy breakfast and lunch on those days without having to adhere to a predetermined timetable.
No need to stop on the way for wine or groceries. We leave a bottle and glasses in the attic, and we can run you up more from the cafe should you want it.
Great area for hiking, bicycling, visiting antique stores, yard sales, skiing and snowshoeing in winter, horseback riding, the Book Village of Hobart, Bovina, Delhi, Andes, Meredith, Cooperstown and many other undiscovered villages nearby. We can point you to trails, swimming holes, pack you a picnic, recommend farm-stands, other places to eat, walk, ride.
Or you can just stay close and enjoy the life in and around Table on Ten and its friends.
Inez was very friendly and helpful. My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time there. The room was beautiful, clean, and romantic. I strongly recommend couple to stay there for a weekend get-away!
ps. The cafe/restaurant downstairs is excellent as well!
The attic room above Inez' beautiful restaurant Table on Ten was such a magical getaway. It has set the bar for all future getaways! The room felt immediately like home--bright and airy, warm and cozy. The tub was dreamy. We loved the bottle of wine Inez set out for us and had a great night sleep in that huge bed. We stayed for 2 nights and ate every meal at Table on Ten. The food was delicious and fresh and the staff is all so sweet and friendly. It felt like staying at a friend's house--except the friend makes awesome woodstove pizza and chipotle-chocolate ice cream. We felt so totally taken care of. It was luxuriously simple--a few excellent choices and some nice quiet. We definitely want to come back. So recommended!
My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights during Maple Weekend 2014. We came up with our friends, a married couple and their 14-month-old toddler. We felt comfortable and welcome from the moment we arrived. We were also the only guests for the whole weekend which made the trip extra special and home-like. Table On Ten is the whole building, which isn't very large, but is designed and decorated in such a way that gives the place an open, peaceful feeling. Pizza night on Friday was busy and delicious! Like-minded people come from all over the area come here to hang out and eat the delicious food. Breakfast was also delicious, and the coffee was great. We actually realized that we probably should have eaten ALL our meals at Table On Ten, as excellent dining options of this level are few and far between in the Catskills (reasonably priced to boot!). The beds were extra comfy, and our attic room was home to the largest Jade plant I have ever seen. Overall it was a beautiful weekend that we would recommend to anyone who wants a peaceful B&B experience hosted by kind generous people. Thanks Table On Ten!
My boyfriend and I wanted a quick weekend escape from the city and Table on Ten was the perfect solution. The attic was truly magical and made for a really unique getaway. The pizza party on Saturday night was a lot of fun, great crowd and delicious food. Inez was a gracious host and we felt so comfortable at Table on Ten! Would recommend this to anyone looking for a change of scenery...the bath was my favorite, soooo relaxing and beautiful!!!
Everything about the experience was great. Highly recommended.
Our stay at Table on Ten was perfect. We decided on the Whole Attic and it was just lovely. My husband, 1 year old daughter and I shared the space. I loved taking baths in the claw foot tub -- all while watching the snow flurries outside. The large bed is super comfy. All of the decor fits the surroundings and we were very cozy. We met Inez immediately when we arrived and she showed us up. We could not have asked for a better host.
The real gem of course is the actual table in Table on Ten. Inez has the most delicious food and dinner is a real event -- lots of lively conversation, meeting new people, the BEST pizza and even some live music. Breakfast in the morning was relaxing and just a great way to start our day.
We went in the winter, so not much activity outside of our little attic besides some antique shopping and visiting the chicks at the Tractor store (our daughter loved them).
Cannot say enough about the lovely atmosphere Inez and her crew have created. A very special place and we had a very special visit.
We had such an incredible time staying at Table on Ten. The attic was so stylish and impeccably clean. Inez and her staff are incredibly gracious hosts. The food was delicious and we loved taking goodies home to enjoy after our trip. Can't wait for another visit!
Perfection. From the cafe to the attic. Couldn't have asked for a better overnight retreat from the grind. We can't wait to come back. very, very soon. :-) ps- do the guacamole with marmite. Newest addiction. Num num...
I took my girlfriend to Table on Ten for her birthday and it was everything we were looking for: quiet and peaceful with truly good food. Even the drive to Bloomville is beautiful (stop at Twin Peaks Donuts on your way). Inez was an awesome hostess. If you are able to come on a Friday or Saturday night it is worth it--the pizza is fantastic! We polished off three pies! Breakfast in the sunny dining room is terrific, too. We sampled baked eggs and toast smothered in meyer lemon marmalade while flipping through the cool photography books they keep handy. All in all, a perfect stay, and we look forward to our next visit!
This place is absolute perfection down to the very last detail. We came up for the weekend and only left the house to go for a run. It was the perfect way to spend a winter weekend reading, writing, eating, and being generally cozy. I am so impressed with what Inez has done with this place. The food is also incredible—the very best pizza I've had in my life.
