The attic inherits the cafe's style and aesthetic - clean, simple, open, friendly. By staying on with us, you become a de facto member of the amazing community that congregates downstairs; enjoy your first bottle of wine upstairs, on the house, then venture down and enjoy the food (gathered from local farms, dairies and producers), join in a workshop, browse around the microshop, or just sit, drink coffee, read or work at your laptop. And you can retreat to the top of the house whenever you wish. Come down to sample the pizzas from the wood fired oven on Friday and Saturday evenings, participate in special dinners, workshops, other events. Or just lie back and take it easy.
Because we're a cafe, health regulations stipulate no dogs in the building.
Relaxing or deep-muscle bodywork is also available on site from Victoria Lundell, at reasonable rates, in our own designated room. Bookable through Table on Ten in advance.
Whilst not strictly a bed & breakfast, easy access to Table on Ten during its working hours facilitates you being able to enjoy breakfast and lunch on those days without having to adhere to a predetermined timetable. Please note: the café is closed Monday through Wednesday.
Thursday - Sunday 9 till 3 (breakfast and lunch)
Friday and Saturday 6 till 9 (wood-oven pizza)
Special Dinners occasionally on Sundays (request dates)
No need to stop on the way for wine or groceries. There's that first free bottle waiting for you in your room and we can run you up more from the cafe should you want it. We have a wine and beer license.
Great area for hiking, bicycling, visiting antique stores, yard sales, skiing and snowshoeing in winter, horseback riding, the Book Village of Hobart, Bovina, Delhi, Andes, Meredith, Cooperstown and many other undiscovered villages nearby. We can point you to trails, swimming holes, pack you a picnic, recommend farm-stands, other places to eat, walk, ride.
Or you can just stay close and enjoy the life in and around Table on Ten and its friends.
Table on Ten is fantastic! Truly warm and welcoming people, they make you feel right at home and part of this fantastic community they've created. The food was incredible and the house was out of this world. Inez is a wonder woman!
Had such a great time here! Make sure to try all the food and listen to all the records. Couldn't have asked for a better retreat away from the city. Will be back soon!
We had a wonderfully relaxing stay! If you are looking for a place to truly get away, this is the spot. There isn't much to do in the area in the winter (unless you actively seek out snowshoe/xc ski trails), so we just stayed inside the entire weekend, which was the sort of retreat we were looking for.
This was such a lovely space! The room is just as pictured, if not bigger and much airy-er than we expected. The bed is extremely comfortable and the tub is A+. Just to note: The internet is not super fast due to the rural location, so don't plan on streaming tons of Netflix. Read all of the great books they have on the shelves there instead!
The food was very good both day and night. They had a great little selection of wine and beers to go with the pizza and great salads. We even went down to get a tray of cappuccinos and cookies mid-afternoon to hold us over until dinner.
If you are looking for an authentic, country farmhouse-style experience that is extremely comfortable and relaxing - this is it! We loved every minute of our stay here. Thank you so much!
Table on Ten is beautiful and a perfect escape from the city. The space is just as beautiful as the pictures seem, a wonderful place to be. One of our favorites was the excellent collection of records and record player... As was wandering downstairs to check out the store, chat with the staff, and get excellent coffee and breakfasts. A beautiful place, we'll be back!
I don't have the words to express what a wonderful experience my boyfriend and I had a Table on Ten. Inez and her staff were so welcoming and friendly. The space was beautiful and the food delicious. We had an amazing time even on a freezing cold snowy weekend. Its the perfect place to relax and recharge, listen to some great records and take a break from it all.
This weekend was one of the most relaxing weekends my husband and I ever had. Inez was a wonderful host. She is so lovely and her staff downstairs were so inviting. The attic is absolutely perfect. Everything from the tub, record player, and all the little details in between. The food downstairs at Table on Ten is delicious! We loved the pulled pork sandwich! Pizza night was also the best! The location was awesome. My husband and I are familiar with the area so it was quiet, relaxing, and remote. Thank you so much Inez + the rest of the Table on Ten staff. We cannot wait to come back in the warmer season to eat pizza outside in the yard!

I'm from Holland. I live in the village of Bloomville in the Catskills but I wander around Brooklyn every couple of weeks. I have a café in the village - Table on Ten - which also serves as a community gathering place and somewhere to experiment with locally sourced food.
