Experience our luxury Texas ranch and retreat from busy life! Incredible hill country VIEWS with miles of ranch trails. The 5F Lodge offers one bedroom en-suite with 1 queen & 4 twins and the nearby cabin has 2 en-suite bedrooms with 2 queen beds in each plus a mini living area for your family gathering, small corporate retreat or group getaways!
Hundreds of native and exotic game to enjoy - Scimitar Horned Oryx, Axis, Addax, Blackbuck, Texas Dall rams, Waterbuck, and massive Whitetail. Some of the deer are so friendly you can feed them by hand!! Spend the day in the new pool/hottub or at our spring fed Cristobal Lake for picnicking, swimming, relaxing, kayaking, canoeing or fishing. Lake is stocked with huge Bass. Arrange for an additional fee to go to Trigger Happy Pistol & Rifle range or Long Range area for shooting fun under a canopy of trees or shoot sporting clays off the back porch at our 10 station course, NOTE. these have additional fees and must be prearranged and chaperoned)!
5F Lodge has 1 upstairs bedroom w/ ensuite bath, 1 queen, 4 twins & 2 single fold out sofas. Our nearby cabin has 2 ensuite bedrooms with 2 queens in each room, a double fold out sofa, microwave, Keurig, mini fridge and washer/dryer. Beautiful porches with Views of hills, pond and Blanket Creek. 5F Lodge has a chef's kitchen that includes nearly everything a seasoned cook could want plus a large dining table and 2 game tables, the back porch has an electric pellet smoker. The gas fire pit seats 8 and has amazing views - wildlife by day & the stars by night! Cozy up to our castle-sized fireplace, 60" TV, wifi, beautiful bar with ice maker, drink fridge and wine fridge. It is stocked with games - Croquet, Corn hole, Poker, Pool, net and paddles for Pickle ball, Badminton or Volleyball, plus many table games - felt for Craps or Blackjack. Get outside & take a drive or a hike around the ranch and catch glimpses of amazing wildlife. Go visit the historic Blanket Springs cemetery dating from 1870’s. The possibilities are endless and there is more to do than time usually allows.

Guest access
Guest have access to most of the 800 acre ranch including the fishing ponds, creek, old west Blanket Cemetery, wildlife viewing houses -self guided photo safari. Propane fire pit, picnic and swimming area around lake, open roads throughout ranch, kayaks, canoe, fishing dock and picnic area. Supervised access to pistol range, rifle range and Sporting Clay facilities cost extra and can be arranged. Bird watching is encouraged. Lots of Hummingbirds and other native Texas birds everywhere. Guest can arrange visit to feed deer at no charge.

Children 2 and under are no charge. 72 hour non-refundable cancellation policy.
Sporting Clays Shoot;
$75/person up to 100 clays - plus REQUIRED safety supervisor $50/hour for time setting up, observation and tear down. Shotgun rental is $30/hour. Bring your own shells or purchase ours @ $20/box of 25. (12 gauge only). Pistol or Long Range is $25/person/hour. 2 hour limit. Always Supervised.
All water is filtered. We include linens, towels, shampoo, conditioner, hairdryer, soap, coffee, chef's kitchen. Bring your own food and beverages. Bring your own fishing equipment and bikes.
We can do small reunions; Sporting Clay events; Business meetings/retreats. We will customize an event to meet your needs and budget.

We are located in the heart of Texas. Gentle rolling hills and a valley filled with huge Pecan, Cottonwood and Oak trees. VERY QUIET. VERY PEACEFUL. Great place to have fun or relax or ...both. A small country dirt road is nearby and the closest highway is 4 miles away. If the sky is clear you can see the milky way and thousands of stars. 2 hours Northwest of Austin and 2.5 hours Southwest of Dallas/Ft.Worth and 3.5 hours North of San Antonio. The nearby local restaurant is Diamond R. 4 miles from ranch in Zephyr, TX. Mexican and American food, gas, ice, drinks. Beer and wine.
