Description

The space

Our apartment has 100m2 and 40m2 terrace overlooking the interior of the block. It's quiet, sunny and comfortably fit 6 people in 2 double and 2 singles, 2 bathrooms and a large sunny kitchen and dining-living room very bright. The terrace is our gem: large, sunny, with plants and flowers, quiet and accommodated with table and 6 wooden chairs, parasol and barbecue.

Located in the Eixample Equerra (touching Sants and Les Corts), 5 minutes from the Sants station (train), close to Plaza España, in front of Metro Entença (blue line) and the bus stop () and a Bicing station.

The area is quiet, with a playground next door, 20 minutes by public transportation (half an hour walking) of the interest centers of the city: Sagrada Familia, Rambla Catalunya, Rambles, Sea Port, Montjuïc mountain, Parc de la Ciutadella etc.

The apartment is full-equipped for a relaxing break in the city: washing machine, fridge, oven, kettel, coffee maker, fan, wifi, etc. We leave for you spare bedding, towels and soaps.

Being a non-touristy neighborhood less and save you hassles, noise and crowds, you have to side 4 supermarkets, fruit and vegetables, fish, meat ... and 2 markets to 15 minutes ("El Ninot" and "Sant Antoni").

You have a welcome pack with directions, recommendations and products of the city outside of the usual commercial channels for you to meet the Barcelona from those who live it daily. See you!

Interaction with guests

Usually I welcome you myself when you arrive at home, but sometimes, for work or family commitments I ask to help me to some friends.

Checkin is usually at 16h (4pm) and checkout is at 12h (12am), but I try to adapt the maximum to your schedule :)

When you arrive I show yu the flat and I tell you some tips about the neighborhood and the city. I leave you two sets of keys.

When you have to leave the apartment just leave the keys in the kitchen and close the door.

The neighborhood

My grocery recomendations on the neighborhood:

Getting around

In Barcelona Airport there are 2 terminals; you need to know wich will you land. Here you have all information in English:

From T2 you have three options:
- Taxi: over 30 euros and 20 min.
- Bus: A1 or A2 (5,9 euros, 20 min directly to Plaça Espanya) and L46 (2,15 euros, 30 min to Plaça Espanya)

- Train: 3,6 euros directly to Barcelona Sants Station (Sants Estació)

From T1 you have the same options except train: if you want to take it you must to get a free bus to T2 and then catch it at T2 train station.

If go to Plaça Espanya (by bus) you will need take the metro (green line) to Sants Estació. If you arrive by train directly to Sants Estació you don't need take another transport, you can walk for 5 min to the house :)

The best way to move in Barcelona is by public transport (train, bus, metro, tramway, funicular...). I recomend you to get a T10 card wich costs 10,6 euros and gets you 10 tickets usefull for several people (one each person). This card is used for all types of transport and each note lasts 1h and a quarter, so you can change transport as many times as you like during that time (provided the transports should be different).

Other things to note

In Barcelona we separate the garbage in plastic and metal (yellow container), paper (blue container), glass (green container), organic (brown container) and other junk (gray container). Would be great if you separate garbage. Otherwise, everything should go to gray container.

Our Registration Turistic Code is HUTB-007367.

We would ask do not smoke at home. You can do it on the terrace if the butts are collected.

Below the flat there is a business: overnight and weekend do not work, so there is no disadvantage in making noise. On the upper floor lives a mother with her son, so I appreciate it you let rest overnight druing the week. On the same floor, so far, no one lives, so you won't be disturbed.

We have a fish tank with fishes, if you pass more than three days we would appreciate that you food them. Likewise with plants and flowers: if you don't matter to water a little every day, they will thank you!

Any questions, something that does not work, question ... are at your disposal.
