  • Hi! Our stay was great! Henry and Holly were nice and helpful, the room and the house extremely clean and big.

  • Henry and Holly are lovely people who will welcome you like family.
Their house, very well situated in a calm neighborhood with several green spaces, is exactly as described - new, clean and has a homey feel.
The bedroom is simple but very clean and with everything you could possibly need.
We really enjoyed staying at their place and interacting with them. They're incredibly nice and will give you tons of recommendations + do everything possible to make you feel at home. We would recommend them and their home to anyone visiting Salinas/Carmel/Monterey area.

  • What a delight it was to stay with Henry and Holly! Their lovely house was large, clean, and open! We definitely felt right at home right when we entered. The bedroom was simple and clean, with fresh towels, extra pillows and blankets, and a tv and DVR. The bathroom was spotless! Henry and Holly were very accommodating and allowed us to check in earlier than the normal time. However, we were running late but they were still as patient as ever and had the keys, room, and aquarium passes ready for us right when we arrived. Since my boyfriend and I were spending less than 2 days in the area and had packed our itinerary with a ton of activities in Carmel and Monterey (only about 40 mins away), we did not really get a chance to get recommendations from Henry or try Holly's famous dumplings. I surely hope we can experience more the next time we stay here!

  • The place is cozy and quiet. Henry and Holly are amazing hosts. They made good breakfast for us, and explained the tips for sightseeing in detail. We had a wonderful time with them. Definetly recommend! Henry 和Holly是难能可贵的好房东, 如果路径西海岸玩一号公路强烈推荐在他家小住。

  • Henry and Holly were extremely friendly throughout my stay, the 'special breakfast' is a must have and very delicious! The room I stayed in was completely beyond my expectations. The house is very nice also and in a great quiet location but yet convenient enough to get around the area

  • Henry and Holly were warm and inviting! I came with my two little girls ages 4 & 7 and they immediately made us feel at ease and taken care of in their very lovely home. We enjoyed visiting with Holly, she is a sweet and informative. I appreciated the location too, it was convenient for us only five minutes away from my aunt and grandma whom we were there to visit!
    Many thanks and well wishes!

  • Henry and Holly were wonderful hosts! We stopped here on a trip down the scenic Route 1, and it was at a perfect location. They were very accommodating to our schedule, and their house is very beautiful and well taken care of. They were also more than happy to give recommendations for things to see and eat around the area. If I'm ever back in the area, I will definitely look them up again to enjoy their generous hospitality!

  • The hosts were polite and friendly. The room was tidy yet simple. The house is spacious, welcoming, and serene. Our stay was brief (overnight) as we took advantage of the aquarium tickets and all that Monterey has to offer. I was not familiar with the Salinas area or the distance to Monterey and Big Sur our final destination. It was fairly close to Monterey about 40 minutes but in the future I would prefer to stay closer to downtown Monterey or Carmel where there are shops, restaurants, and tourist attractions. If passing thru Salinas I would highly recommend or if your looking for something affordable and away from Monterey.

    June 2014
  • Henry and Holly were very welcoming during our stay. We had a great time at the aquarium with the passes included. Definitely recommend staying here!

    June 2014
  • The hosts Henry and Holly were very pleasant, hospitable and warm hosts. Their house is new and very clean. The room and bed were comfortable. We spent 3 pleasant days/nights with them. We would stay there again and recommend their home to our friends.
