We've recently spent 9 days at Nantini's place and the apartment is really as described. All the rooms, included the bathroom, are a good size. It's very clean, well equipped, modern with lots of light thanks to big windows in the living and the bedroom and there's lots of room to hang your clothes.
After our 15 kilometers a day we were pleased to come back and rest in that cosy, spacious place.
We also really liked the hall at the entrance (there's even a fountain!) and the 2 very large and beautiful elevators.
The apartment is well located, at a walking distance of everything. One block away is the start of the High line (or the end), so it was nice to take it to go to Soho, do our shopping at broadway.....
We enjoyed it all and definitely recommend this apartment.
The reservation was canceled 19 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
The apartment is exactly as shown in the pictures. It is very clean, well decorated and functional. It is equipped with all the equipment that a traveler would need.
It is also very well located: near to the Empire State Building, Madison Square Garden, Macy´s on 34th St, High line, H&B (electronics store). And it is at a walking distance of many enjoyable places, like the Chelsea Market.
There are two subway stations a few blocks to the apartment.
Nantini is a very attentive host, very organized and easy to be contacted. She was very helpful, offering documents describing the apt and the neighborhood.
Thanks a lot Nantini! We had a great time in NY!
First rent with Airbnb and not the last for sure. Best experience ever, my family really enjoed the city also thanks to the apartment.
Clean, comfortable and near to the public transportation, all of the essentials are within walking distance including gym and laundromat, both of those inside the building.
The apartment was just as described - spacious, comfortable, modern and conveniently located. My wife and I stayed there with our son for a week of visiting family and enjoying NYC. We explored all over the city, so having a central location close to the subway was perfect. Nantini was a great host, available for any questions and making sure the apartment was beautifully setup for us. Would recommend to anyone - wonderful apartment.
My partner and I was in NYC for 9 days during fashion week to celebrated our September birthdays. It was our very first time using Airbnb and I think we will definitely use it again in the future after our experience at Nantini's apartment.
First of all, Nantini was a wonderful host. Her correspondence was quick, courteous and efficient.
The apartment was clean, modern and good.
The location was fantastic for us because it is centrally located. We use the Penn Station a few times (2 blocks away) but we walked everywhere the entire stay. It is New York City, so nowhere is super safe or unsafe. Use common sense and street smart to avoid any troubles.
We really enjoyed our trip in New York and we would highly recommend Nantini's apartment for those who wants to avoid high price and overly touristy hotels.
P.S. You must go see Hedwig & The Angry Itch. It's an Absolutely fantastic show.
Excellent location about 1-2 blocks east of the upper end of the "Highline"...it was amazing to take evening strolls there each night we stayed. The apartment was wonderful! I would say big for NYC standards. We loved the way it was meticulously decorated and it had a great style about it. There was ample closet space to unload and hang both of our clothes...we definitely brought way too much for our stay...as there are laundry facilities that were readily available. We used the kitchen a lot, so it was nice to save some $$ on breakfasts and snacks and such. The rooftop deck was a great addition as well. It was fun to go up and have a drink, hangout, and look at a lit up Manhattan after a long day out in the city. The building seemed very secure and the neighborhood wasn't a even a bit "sketchy"...we loved it! It was within walking distance to the subway/Penn Station, so taking the train or bus in was ideal. Everything worked great in the apartment and Nantini checked in with me a few times during our stay just to make sure everything was up to what we expected.
All in all we had a great experience! I will definitely stay in Nantini's place again as everything went so smooth and was way above my expectations.
