2 BDRM 2 BATH OLDER APARTMENT ON THE WATER. ADULTS ONLY. Watch shorebirds, fishing boats, and marine mammals frolic in the harbor from the living room. Nested below the Visitors Center, you have unobstructed views of the bay. It’s almost like staying on a houseboat. Walk to Patrick’s Taffy and The Tides, or take a short drive to Fishetarian at Lucas Wharf, Doran Beach, Spud Point Marina, and hiking Bodega Head. Play all day and relax in unfussy homey comfort at night. The coast is yours.

The space
Nature lovers and relaxation seekers agree this cozy spot on the water is unparalleled. While not renovated and an older unfussy apartment on the water, it has all the amenities you need to be comfortable, with a connection to the sea that’s hard to put into words. Think houseboat vibes! Enjoy morning coffee and cocktail hour on the narrow patio at the water’s edge, and explore the small harborside beach at low tide to hunt for clams, chitons, and crabs. Birdwatching never ends here - keep your eyes open for Bald Eagles. Two private bedrooms with Cal King beds and quality linens for a cozy rest, and two full baths so you don’t have to share with friends - plus a washer and dryer to refresh your beach clothes! NOTHING FANCY here, but a solid stay. Full unrenovated kitchen for making meals with your crew. We hope to host you soon! Best for ADULTS or families with older kiddos 12 AND UP who can respect the rules and be safe. NO PETS but LICENSED serviced animals ok. Parking for 2 vehicles - NO BOATS, RVs, or TRAILERS

!!!Please read fully: This is an unfussy, older lower unit on the water, so moisture - that boaty smell - and some critters such as ants and rollie pollies do get in from time to time despite pest control and moisture abatement. We do our best!!! If you have extreme allergies to DUST, moisture, or beach mold, or if the occasional ant are not acceptable to you please do not book this unit. There are plenty of hotels nearby. ACCESSIBLE ONLY BY STAIRS!

This lower unit apartment is ACCESSIBLE ONLY BY STAIRS and uses a door code on a keypad. If guest mobility is hindered, consider staying elsewhere without stairs. Private access to the waterfront is accessible at low tide but requires traversing uneven ground.

NO PETS (service animals ok, not emotional support animals however).

Please read fully: This is an an older lower unit on the water, so moisture, beach mold, dust, and some critters such as ants and rollie pollies do get in from time to time despite pest control and moisture abatement. We do our best!! If you have severe allergies to dust or mold, or the occasional critter is not for you, do not book.

Kitchen is older (old style cabinets and appliances) but tidy and well-appointed.

May desire earplugs if the foghorn will disrupt your sleep. We do have some on hand.
