Yes everything was as listed. Really appreciated the breakfast options provided and that you allowed us to use the iron upstairs. Thank you for your great hospitality!
It was a delight to return for our second stay this summer. Everything was as comfortable and inviting as on our first visit. Lynne had provided us with a thoughtful selection of breakfast foods, and we enjoyed having our coffee and breakfast out on the patio. The weather was clear, and we had a great view of Puget Sound and Mt Rainier. We could have happily spent the whole morning relaxing there, and maybe taking a little walk along the shoreline, but we needed to move along to do our family visiting nearby. If your travel plans include Washington's Key Peninsula, Lynne and Dale's place is an outstanding choice.
Lynne and her husband were great! We were really surprised at how wonderful the accommodations were-better than we expected. A beautiful home, comfortable, equipped with all we needed. Plus a gorgeous view and opportunities to view seals!
Our hosts, Lynne and her husband, were great. They were warm and friendly while being respectful of our space. The listing was just as described. Although there are other homes nearby the backyard felt very private and spacious. You have a direct view of the Key Peninsula. My friend and I have already talked about making this spot a yearly tradition.
We spent two comfortable, pleasant nights here while we visited family nearby. It was a great find for us, as there are few other lodging options in the immediate area. The unit was spacious, very clean, and nicely decorated. We found a comfortable bed, a good shower, and a lovely view from the patio. Lynne and Dale were very friendly and helpful, but not intrusive. They had stocked the bar fridge with enough light breakfast foods to get us off to a good start for the day; the lack of a kitchen was not an issue for us, as we spent most of the day with family.
It was perfect for our needs, but we'll mention two aspects that might affect others. First, there were enough attractive collectibles around that I would have been stressed if I'd needed to monitor young, rambunctious children. On the other end of the age spectrum, my 86 year old mother (with vision and mobility problems) would have had difficulty walking from the driveway to the door of the unit. It's a short distance on a sloping lawn, not difficult unless you're already challenged. I'd suggest discussing concerns with the host ahead of time.
I my wedding was in Lakebay and I reserved Lynne's place for family members. Lynne was patient and accommodating with my schedule and plan changes which I appreciated because I was up to my ears with wedding preparation. My family who stayed were very comfortable and said its was a lovely experience.
This was our first Airbnb experience, and it could not have been better. The Lake House is beautiful, and the lower level was our private space. We enjoyed our morning coffee while sitting out on the patio, watching the wildlife of the bay. The rooms were large, nicely decorated, and very clean, and the bed was comfortable. It is a quiet area.
Our host and hostess were charming. We were in the area to visit family and regretted not having more time to spend at the B & B. We highly recommend the Lake House.
