The space
The Farm:
Silver Penny Farm has been in continuous agricultural production since the early 1900’s and is currently leased to a neighboring sheep rancher as part of his rotational grazing practice. The meat is available through Stemple Creek Ranch. Honey bees also reside on the farm, managed by Sola Bee, and used to pollinate fruit orchards in the spring.

Silver Penny Farm seeks to be a place for convening and exploring the interconnectedness of community, sustainable farming, and the ecology of working lands.


Inside Casa Grande:
Enjoy the quiet California countryside during your stay at the Casa Grande. With 3000-square feet of space, you’ll find an open kitchen for gathering, a dining area with double doors to an enclosed patio, a large living room with a sunny porch for reading and relaxing. There’s plenty of outdoor space for enjoying al fresco dining or simply unwinding with a walk in the gardens. Enjoy the warm interiors with bright natural light that pours in from the large windows. This is the perfect stay for groups or families, with a total of 3 bedrooms, all with full en-suite bathrooms, plus an additional half bathroom downstairs.

Additionally, we do also have another listing for a private 1 bedroom suite. Please reach out if you would like to book the full 5 bedroom house or both this house and the additional suite.

Guest access
You’ll have access to the surrounding gardens as well as the 17.5 acres of farmland. You'll share Silver Penny with the permanent residents who are local makers, ecologists and food industry workers. While exploring please stay within the property line fences and be mindful of the private residences.
