  • What a special place and what special people! We had a fabulous weekend in this beautiful, modern, immaculate and stylish BnB. Beds are super-comfortable, the bathrooms are luxurious and we really appreciated the beautifully presented, amazing vegan breakfasts, not to mention the evening cookies! We loved having use of the comfy living room area with CD player and CD's, books and a big selection of teas. While the BnB is a little off the beaten track, it is so worth the drive from Eugene! Misha is a warm, caring and professional host who takes great pride in her BnB and is so friendly and super-interesting. We could have chatted for hours more :) We left Misha and Rob very inspired by their lifestyle choices...and determined to return soon to Velo!

  • My first experience staying at a place off of airbnb and first time at a bed and breakfast was made such a delight by Misha. She was extremely helpful and accommodating, warm and caring and fun to talk to. It's going to be a tough act to follow when I go stay somewhere else when traveling. We felt so comfortable and refreshed. The atmosphere at Velo is peaceful and quiet with a modern feel. I loved the fact that there was tea to drink, a common area with books, magazines and dvd's available for use.

And oh my goodness! The breakfasts were amazing. I am not vegetarian, but I could easily be if I were to eat everyday like I did there! She made us fresh warm cookies both nights before we went to bed.

I am so happy I chose to stay at Velo for my Eugene trip. When I come back to Eugene, that will be my first choice of stay.

  • Very mindful host they have created a special place to stay. Comfortable quiet room with beautiful and functional private bathroom. Additional relaxing space to use both inside and out. Breakfast was exceptional both days we stayed and she asked for personal preferences to assure it would be to our taste which is not often the case at a B&B.

  • Our one night at Velo B&B was a highlight of our entire trip. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Misha and a plate of warm peanut butter chocolate chip cookies, we felt completely at home. The space is absolutely lovely, and we enjoyed spending time in our spacious but cozy room, showering in the gorgeous shower, hanging out on the backyard patio with a cat (and with a view of some ducks and chickens in an area of their own) and meeting Peanut the cow. We also really enjoyed our tour of Rob's bike-building workshop. Our breakfast was spectacularly delicious and all homemade. After breakfast, Misha spent time helping us plan our activities in the area. We loved staying here and would love to come back some day! Highly recommended!

  • Velo is a BEAUTIFUL Bed & Breakfast that I would recommend to anyone. Misha was so thoughtful and kind, greeting us with homemade cookies when we arrived for our stay! The space was clean and spacious. Breakfast each morning was savory and filling. I'm so glad I stumbled upon this gem on AirBnB. I hope to return someday!

  • I had a great stay at the Velo B&B. I loved the bike theme artwork and it was immaculately clean. But the best part was the warm vegan chocolate peanut butter cookies Misha brought us in the evening. The breakfast was also extremely delicious. Misha was very accommodating.

  • Incredible B&B and wonderful overall experience for us. They were flexible with a late check in, and upon arrival we were greeted with homemade cookies and a movie selection to take back to our room. We were also asked what time we'd want coffee and breakfast in the morning, and sure enough it was out there waiting on us when we requested it.

The coffee and breakfast were both amazing, with the breakfast being made of all local ingredients from the backyard. It was a short stay, and I hope in the future we can return to stay longer.

For anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing and unique B&B experience in Eugene, this is the place!

  • My girlfriend Rachelle and I drove from LA to Seattle with stops in multiple B&B's. Two stood out as absolutely exceptional and this was one of them for the following reasons:

    1) Misha's bring a great personality and is wonderfully hospitable. She was there to meet and greet us when we arrived later than expected and gave us a great walk through. We also spent hours speaking with her the next day getting a tour of her garden and the many animals she has adopted/rescued (we actually had a chance to meet and feed her cow in the morning - we loved that!!). For me meeting hosts is actually what sets apart BNB's/Hostel's from staying in hotels.

    2) The place was immaculate and recently updated. Comfortable bed, great bathroom, nice home, and what set it apart was that Misha left us very high quality shampoo and conditioner... sometimes a little goes a lot was in leaving a good impression.

    3) Misha made us french press coffee and the most delicious buckwheat pancakes with homegrown berries. Yum! She also offered and gave us zuchini chocolate cake on our arrival - also delish!

    4) They provide a mobile DVD player and some movie options, which is always a nice touch to fall asleep to. Also, her husband designs and builds bikes, so they have a bike theme that is really cool - including some bike books with all of his work.

I probably could list additional things we enjoyed, but you can probably tell this place is solid. The only reason I wouldn't leave a great review is because I want the place to be available next time I'm in Oregon ;-)

Misha, we enjoyed meeting you and appreciate the hospitality!

    Best,

    Ramzi and Rachelle

  • Absolutely amazing accommodations! Every detail was thought of and Misha was one of the nicest people we have ever met! We felt as if we were in another world on Rob and Misha's vegan self sustainable farm!! The food was fabulous and was an added extra we rarely see on airbnb!! We will definitely be back and will highly recommend this oasis to everyone! Thanks guys for thinking of everything to make our stay wonderful!! Hugs to all the cool animals you have rescued!! They were all so sweet!!
