A good place to stay it was central for me, close to golf courses and beaches. Easy to find as its on one of the main streets. Gave good advice on locations and driving. The breakfast was good.
When I was there the internet was not working but I'm sure they will fix that problem because when traveling these days we need internet.
What a beautiful, perfect place to stay at! We felt at home from the very first minute, Alvis & Ray welcomed us with tea and coffee, helped us to get the best way into Dublin and completed our Ireland experience with a delicious Irish breakfast. We spent the last 2 nights of our holidays at Great Keppel B&B and it was ideal for getting to the airport very early in the morning.
Alvis and Ray were very welcoming and had many great suggestions for things to see, do, and eat. The BB is very nice, rooms and toilets were clean. The breakfast provided was extensive and a true taste of Ireland. Many thanks!
Another excellent experience, my friend and I stayed with Alvis and couldn't speak highly enough of her and her husband Ray.
Excellent directions, immaculately clean and without doubt the best brekkie in Ireland ( well except for the black pudding )!!!
Strongly recommend you take the opportunity and stay there.
Cliff and Bar
We are Ray & Alvis, parents of three boys who have finally flown the nest, well that’s what we hope anyway! We love travelling and enjoy opening our home to visitors.
Great Keppel, our house, is named after the island on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia that we visited on our extended world tour some years ago.
Ray is the Golf expert, a former captain of Clontarf Golf Club with an insider’s knowledge of all local golf courses. Alvis does the rest; breakfasts, brochures, bus timetables, a brief introduction to Irish history, local places of interest and even gardening tips.
