We have an in-house massage therapist available and offer a simple locally sourced morning breakfast. Sip your morning coffee while overlooking Lansing on our veranda.

The space
The Thornton House was built in 1874 and 5000 square feet. Our main entrance is on level 2 and guestrooms are located on the third floor of this historic mansion.

Guest access
Guest can access the main floor and suites are located on the third floor. Guests can enjoy our livingroom, library, second floor veranda with river view or sit on one of outdoor porches. porches. Enjoy a homemade breakfast in the morning.

During your stay
We are always available via text and can usually be found at our residence located on the ground floor, back yard or porch.

Other things to note
We are centrally located. Just two blocks from main street and two blocks from the entrance to Mt Hosmer Park. Whether it's shopping local or going for a hike, there is no need to drive. Lansing has several fine dining establishments all just a few minutes walk.

I like to spend time with my guests
I have been a host since 2019. Living Sacred Soul offer a immerrsive Yoga retreats and when we are not in retreat, we offer lodging in our home, The Thornton House Bed and Breakfast which has operated for the past 17 years. The Thornton House offers a choice of two guest rooms, each with private bath. Breakfast is made to order during your stay and I am the in house massage therapist, if you would like to add spa services with your stay.
