About This Listing
My flat is independent, at the first floor, in a private courtyard, calm neighbourhood, next to the airport, train station, motorway.
Please notice that in fact is my own private house, it is cozy and safe, but it is not a professional hotel.
Single room with a mezzanine, in a flat with two rooms at the first floor with a big kitchen, bathroom and a balcony. A good choice to spend a night, while waiting for an early flight or more days visiting the city of Pisa and the surroundings. The flat is near by the Central Station and the International Airport Galileo Galilei.
The sea is 8 km far, called Marina di Pisa, the city of Livorno is 15 km far, the city of Viareggio is 25 km far.
It's a calm neighbourhood.
We also accept small animals.
The apartment is near by the most services, Postal Office, hairdressers, 2 nice little food markets round the corner, 2 big supermarkets at the end of the street, a nice bar, and one of the best "pizzeria" of Pisa.
The district, called San Marco, is well connected to the old part of the city and to the Leaning Tower by bus.
Is also near by the entrance to the highway A1, Genova-Livorno, as well as to the free Highway Firenze-Pisa-Livorno, and to the airport (5 minutes by walking) and to the Railway Station (10 minutes by walking).
The house mood is easy and comfortable, with a nice, light kitchen where to have breakfast at morning.
The house owner, me as I write, can be present or not, during your staying, and, by asking before, I can leave you the whole apartment for one night or more, with a maximum of one week.
I speak italian, english, french and spanish language.
So, see you in Pisa.
Other Things to Note
Sometimes at home I have my doggy Rena, but not always. Anyway if you got any allergy or some other problems with dogs is better to talk about it before. Rena is polite and gentle with foreigners, and the house is kept clean usual.
Be calm, flexible, and respectous as I am, please.
Great place, quite close to the airport as described, totally recommend Anna, she gave us a short brief about the city, with some tips, and even also give us a lift nearby! Breakfast, Clean Room, nothing else to ask. Thanks for everything!
Todo perfecto, te sientes como en casa, un lugar muy acogedor, a pesar de no haber conocido a Anna en persona, pero nos lo dejo todo explicado con anotaciones, mediante correo electronico etc. Muy atenta a pesar de estar en la distancia.
The host was super helpful in all our queries and made it possible for us to check in really late due to our flight. Unfortunately the host was not around at that period but she gave us very clear information that we had no problems whatsoever. Everything she recommended was amazing( we checked out about 80% of the places). The location is smack in the middle walking distance from the airport and the train station.
Anna was excellent and contacted us in advance to let us know that she was unfortunately going to be away during our stay. She gave us detailed instructions on how to get to hers from the station and also how to get the centre of pisa and her recommendations. The apartment had everything we needed (including breakfast!) and it was very clean.
Unfortunately, we did not meet Anna but she gave us great instructions for walking to her home and we felt very comfortable there. She was very hospitable and if we are ever back in Pisa we would stay there again!
We stayed with Anna for one night in June. After a short flight from the UK we were ready to explore Pisa. Luckily Anna's flat is within a 15 minute walk of the Airport (probably less if you're not using say nav and know where you're going).
Anna was not in when we arrived, but we knew this and she helpfully left the keys conveniently placed for us.
She was concerned for our welfare when we didn't let her know we arrived and messaged us a few times, but unfortunately we didn't get this until the evening when we got in after wandering around Pisa in the evening.
The room was as expected. A nice maisonette room with a wooden pallet and mattress on the floor. It doesn't sound like much, but it was very comfortable.
A word of caution; if you are near sighted, unsteady on your feet (or come back merry from drink), or go for a wee at night you, will need to be careful as the steps up and down can be a cause for concern as they are narrow. They can set you up for a Darwin Award nomination if you are not careful.
We met Anna in the early afternoon before we left and exchanged pleasentries. She was nice and asked us what we got up to.
Overall Anna's place was relaxed, easily located from the airport and central Pisa (Tower of), and if we were visit Pisa again for a short spell, we would use Anna again.

About the Host, Anna
I like to travel and to host nice and kind people, so if you're travelling for tourism or work, feel free to ask for staying a night or more. I will help you to make your staying or passing by the city of Pisa a nice experience.
I can describe me like a person interested in philosophy, art, theater, enjoying life through learning new things. I like to cook, eat, read noir books, going to the cinema, rock concerts, theatre, playing theatre, taking pictures, I love all kind of animals, except for rats! I love opera music and I would like to learn to play at least one of the many music instruments I got at home.
I wish to travel with the famous "transiberianan" train, and to learn danish.
I like to meet and host new people, but always with each other respect and politeness.
Sometimes leaves with me a doggy called Rena which is really polite and clean, she also likes to meet new people but if you got allergy to her fur this is not a nice solution for you, even if the house is kept clean.
Better to know before if you have any problem with dogs!
My motto is live and let live.
Mi piace viaggiare in libertà e odio i villaggi turistici.
