This cabin is in a beautiful spot and was cozy but well-equipped. Great porch and yard for basking in the VT sun. Be aware, the cabin has Internet access but the surrounding area does not get a signal, so GPS is of limited use. You will want to screenshot the directions and keycode in advance of your arrival.

We had such a great stay at the cabin. It was very clean and tidy, and had anything you would need for your stay. The location is private but you still have the comfort of neighbors near by. We stayed with our two elementary aged children - it's very family friendly. We all had plenty of space to enjoy ourselves both inside and out. Deer and even a porcupine came to visit, which was fun. Christa is an amazing host. You won't be disappointed!

Christa was a great host and the house was perfect for our group of guests staying there. She was communicative from the start and made sure everything was in order for our arrival. The location is great for those seeking a nice private location that is close to the beauty of the Green Mountains and activities throughout Addison County and beyond.

Fabulous Vermont location...the picture of the cabin does not do justice to the setting...you can't even see the road, nor neighbors, after you enter the winding drive! We have been visiting Vermont almost every year, from California, for more than 40 years, and this ranks as one of the best places we have stayed. Vermont is a magic place and a fawn gamboling through the fern meadow just outside the dining room window, fairly bouncing along, added the perfect icing to the cake of this wonderful setting!

Great location and wonderful host. The home is ideally situated -- a short drive from town, Lake Dunmore, Bread Loaf campus, several hiking trails, and the Middlebury Snow Bowl. We had an extended stay over the summer with our two children, ages 5 and 7, and there was plenty of space from them to play and explore outside. The house is quiet, peaceful, and secluded, but close enough to the restaurants and stores of Middlebury that it doesn't feel remote. The home itself is cozy and inviting. We really appreciated the well-stocked kitchen. Christa is an excellent host. She responds immediately to all questions and has lots of helpful suggestions for navigating the surrounding area. We would happily stay here again!

We enjoyed this rental the last weekend in June and it was just lovely! We were in the area for my cousins wedding in Bridport, and needed a rental for my family of 4 plus my parents and brother and the house fit us all very nicely. It is indeed very secluded, there is no cell service (for Verizon at least) unless you are at the bottom of the street, but if you are looking to get away and have privacy this is most certainly a great spot. We wish we could've taken advantage of the outdoor space a little more (there was a great fire pit right outside and a good size deck), but we were on the go most of the time we were there unfortunately! Christa was a great host, and answered any and all questions we had. All in all it was a great weekend!

This is the place for a welcoming and cozy retreat. It is completely private, surrounded by woodlands, and has a huge window by the dining table, providing the perfect spot to sip coffee while watching wildlife and birds. I enjoy cooking and appreciate the well-equipped kitchen. I have stayed here twice, and have made many meals which we enjoyed by the viewing window, or on the spacious deck. The owner is gracious and prompt in responding to inquiries, and has a nearby contact to help with any concerns. My stays have been problem-free, but it is nice to know support is nearby if needed. I regret that I am not a writer, because I think that this would be an ideal place to write a novel, or at least some fabulous short stories!
