Interaction with Guests
I'm sorry we won't get a chance to meet you when you arrive. You will provide you with access to the home upon arrival.
This area is very quiet and our home is located in the culdesac. Heavily wooded and nice and quiet.
As you will be staying in the North Georgia Mountains, there is no public transportation. A vehicle is a must. There are so many beautiful State Parks and Waterfalls, you will want to be able to drive to all of these destinations.
Other Things to Note
Our home is just 2 short miles to Anna Ruby Falls and Unicoi State Park!
No smoking please and no pets.
The place was great! Patty answered a lot of our questions we had beforehand and provided driving directions which helped a lot because GPS takes you to another place. The wifi code was easily accessible and it had pretty much all the cooking stuff we needed along with comfortable and warm beds. It was great to have the fireplace to stay warm although we didn't get a chance to use the firepit. Would definitely recommend!
We were able to communicate with Patty very easily although we did not have the opportunity to meet with her directly. Directions were clear. The cottage was a wonderfully quiet place for our family of 6. It was clean and the hot tub was waiting for us...already warm
it was close to Helen and Unicoi State park. Definitely a place to highly recommend if one wants to get away.
I was so pleased with my experience! I rented the cabin for the weekend with some girlfriends of mine and we were so blessed to have such a great cabin to stay. We felt so relaxed and really felt at home in this wonderful place. Patty was very responsive and always got back to me quickly and was so helpful!
Interaction with Patty was great, she was very responsive. House is in a secluded area and very quiet.
This was truly a little piece of heaven. Very secluded and felt like home away from home. Was truly impressed with the help that Patty was able to assist us with and of course the cabin.
My family and I stayed at Jubilee Family Cottage this past weekend. We had a wedding in Cleveland and wanted to spend the weekend in the mountains. The house is great! Just enough room for my parents, my sister and their families and me. The house is very conveniently located to Unicoi and Helen and it's just a skip from Blairsville. The creek, hot tub and fire pit were so much fun for us as we have little ones to entertain. Since there were so many of us, Patty even allowed us to say a few hours after the check out time to make sure we had enough time to pack and leave. I would definitely stay at Jubilee Family Cottage again!
Great house for the six of us - very comfortable. Had a good fire going both nights. Washer and dryer were handy since we had been traveling for 10 days. We wouldn't hesitate to come back! Patty was so accommodating and friendly - we felt like we knew her before we checked in! Tallahassee - February, 2014

Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains on the Chattahoochee River, this Northeast Georgia village has a rich history linked to the Cherokee Indians and Indian burial mounds as well as early settlers who arrived to mine for gold and cut virgin timber for a thriving lumber industry in the early 1900s. Helen is a re-creation of an alpine village complete with cobblestone alleys and old-world towers. We've got shopping, camping, both rustic and luxury mountain cabins, restaurants, theater, recreation, romantic getaways, beautiful scenery, family activities, waterfalls, museums, history, art, fishing, tubing, golf, and more. Something for every member of the family.
Festivals and special events include a hot air balloon race, Winefest, Volksmarch, Oktoberfest and Christmas parades, Fourth of July fireworks, and Bavarian Nights of Summer. From mid-September through October, Helen hosts the longest Oktoberfest in the South. Alpenfest offers entertainment during the Holiday season from Thanksgiving through December.
