LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!

As you can see from the pictures, it's a modern, beautiful 1-bed apartment on the first floor of an old fire-station, 1 minute walk from the Tate Modern. In the midst of all the arts and culture of the Southbank. You will not find anywhere closer to the middle of the Culture Mile than this flat!

BUT WHAT DOES ROXY HAVE IN IT?
1 Double bed, plus 1 Inflatable Mattress for a child.
Bath, shower, washing machine, dryer, oven, hobs, dishwasher, fridge, freezer. Secure entry. Wood flooring, stone bathroom. Large Fitted Wardrobe in bedroom. Entry phone.

Roxy can fit a maximum of two adults and one child. We recommend Roxy for individuals and couples with up to one child.

Roxy is for those who like being in the middle of things - this isn'(email hidden) lane, this is the centre of London with people, culture, excitement, noises, and bright lights. It can be busy outside but the windows are sound insulated and most guests are surprised by how quiet the apartment is. There is a Hilton hotel being built next door, but this is largely complete and (as you can see in the reviews) is not normally noisy.

Please note there is no allocated parking but we can get you daytime on-street parking on the street for £5 a day Monday - Saturday.

  • Great experience. Amazing location and flat was perfect for what we needed. Hosts were very helpful. Couldn't be happier.

  • This apartment is efficient, neat and comfortable. My wife and I stayed here with our 13 yr old son. He used their air mattress on the living room floor, which worked just fine. We packed the mattress away and the living room was a happy lounging place for breakfasts and evening tv watching. The place is fully functional - nice bath and compact, but full kitchen with small dining table. and washer dryer. The location is really good, a few minutes from the Tate and the Millennium bridge to St Paul"s. Reece and Julie are very friendly and accommodating hosts. They provided maps, snacks, breakfast food and wine, which made us feel very much at home.

  • Reece and Julie were lovely hosts, really friendly and helpful. They cheerfully greeted us when we arrived, and provided us with maps and useful info on transport and restaurants, etc. They'd very kindly put some breakfast stuffs in the fridge, so our first morning was easily managed. The place is quite compact, but very neat and comfortable so we enjoyed lounging there, having breakfast and watching some TV in the evenings. The place is certainly well located, and we easily reached key London sights as well as convenient services in the neighborhood.

  • Reece and Julie were there at the (quite early) hour we arrived, were incredibly solicitous and friendly, and popped up unasked with an extra umbrella when it started raining. Couldn't say enough good things.

  • (From my Mother) : We were very pleased with Apt. Roxy. It was comfortable with all of the necessary amenities and convenient to transportation and attractions, many within walking distance. Reece was extremely helpful and ready to be of assistance with local information and transportation and touring suggestions. We were welcomed with flowers in the room, breakfast foods in the fridge and wine and goodies in a basket! We felt well cared for and loved the location! We highly recommend Roxy and Reece.

  • This was the second time in four months I stayed at Reece and Julie's, and once again, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It was great coming "home" after work and making the quick trip to the waterfront to relax.

I'd highly recommend Reece and Julie - they are fantastic hosts.

    Looking forward to returning soon!

  • This flat was all we could have hoped for. It was fresh, clean all newly updated, the location vibrant. The double glass on the street side windows reduced traffic noise in the day and it was very quiet at night, even with windows opened. The location couldn't have been better. We had looked it up on (website hidden) and had some second thoughts when we saw the (website hidden) street views. But those images, as of this writing, are totally out of date. It'(email hidden) and location. The Tate Modern is one block across the street, a market right around the corner, and a French bakery directly across the corner. The walkway along the Thames is just beyond the Tate, with the Globe Theater and Burrough Market a short walk further. The Millennium foot bridge goes across the river to St Paul's Cathedral - also a wonderful walk, especially in the evening. We could have stayed much longer just enjoying the vibrant activities so closely available. And the tube and bus lines made it very easy to get farther afield. All this couldn't have been better. Reece and Julie were totally wonderful - smart, considerate and helpful! We feel luck to have found this place and them. Many thanks for a great stay in London!

  • Reece and Julie are exceptional hosts. We started off our two-week vacation here with a five-night stay at their excellent flat. The location was perfect and less than five minutes from Tate Modern, my favorite museum. Staying in the flat was ideal to every thing. We'll definitely stay with Reece and Julie again on our return trip.

  • This flat is phenomenal. It's a great location, it's perfectly stocked with little kitchen/bathroom utensils you might need, and it's super easy to get everywhere. The hosts, Reece and Julie were also very accommodating, we arrived to a bottle of wine waiting for us (wahoo!). I would definitely book this spot again on my next trip. Thanks guys!

About
Hi, we're Reece & Julie. We're Londoners and know the area really well - Reece has lived here about 15 years - and we love it. The best parts of SE1 are Borough Market, Tower Bridge, the Tate Modern, the London Eye and all the festivals and events that happen along the river Thames. It's also amazingly close to all the other good bits like Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square, Oxford Street and Covent Garden. If you need any recommendations, just ask!
