Roxy is for those who like being in the middle of things - this isn't a quiet country lane, this is the centre of London with people, culture, excitement, noises, and bright lights. It can be busy outside but the windows are sound insulated and most guests are surprised by how quiet the apartment is. There is a Hilton hotel being built next door, but this is largely complete and (as you can see in the reviews) is not normally noisy.
Please note there is no allocated parking but with at least 1 week's notice we can get you daytime on-street parking on the street for £5 a day Monday - Saturday.
Check-in is normally 6:00pm and check-out is 10:00am, but times can be flexible. Drop us a message if the current ones don't work for you.
An Oyster card saves money on single journeys and has a price cap of around £7 for central London. The TFL website has all the info.

Buses are great! We highly recommend the RV1, which goes from outside the front door. One way goes to London Eye, Houses of Parliament, and Covent Garden, the other way goes to Borough Market, London Bridge, Tower Bridge and Tower of London. It's a cheap but too!
You'll need an Oyster card to travel around London, or a credit or debit card with contactless payment. Or maybe even mobile phone payments. Either way, buses don't take cash anymore.
Other Things to Note
The cleaning fee is for the bedding and towels; we provide them and they do not need to be cleaned at the end of your stay.
As you get the entire apartment, we do our best to stay out of the way and give you your privacy. There might be occasions when we need access to the apartment and we will give you as much notice as possible. We ask that you keep the place relatively tidy during your stay.
No smoking, parties or pets, and please take your shoes off inside.
Check in is normally 6pm or after and check out at 10am, but we can make exceptions if you get in touch before booking. There may be additional costs for very late night check ins.
On check out please make sure all the rubbish is taken outside and all cups, glasses, plates and cutlery are clean, dry and put back away in the cupboards.
The trash goes under the tree outside, at any time of day or night. Please take it out when you go.
If you have any problems then just get in touch and we'll do what we can to sort them out. If you break anything, just tell us. C'est la vie - but it helps us if we know we need to replace anything.
Please also let us know in advance if you need more than 1 set of keys.
Treat it like your own home - let's keep it simple!
Julie and Reece were gracious hosts. They answered all our questions promptly, clearly, and in a friendly manner. The flat is very well located. As well, the flat has a good layout, even though is small. We had room for our luggage and lounging on the couch without tripping on each other. The bathroom was very comfortable and the kitchen offered plenty of room for preparing our breakfasts and dinners. Having a washer/dryer and a dishwasher was a big plus. Marks and Spencer and Tesco Express offered good choices in groceries. We loved the short walk to the Borough Market, the Thames, the Tate Modern, and many other fantastic places. Can't wait to come back! Thank you Julie and Reece.
The flat was exactly as advertised. Well positioned, close to the city across the millennium bridge and in the heart of Southwark and all its amenities. Excellent meet and great with hosts who work hard to ensure your stay is as pleasant as possible.
My fiancè and I stayed in Reece and Julie's apartment for 5 nights and had a wonderful time.
The flat has exactly what you need and is in a perfect location, just 2 minutes away from the Tate Modern and from the south bank walking path.
You can reach the town center and most attractions with a 30 minute walk.
Julie and Reece are very helpful and really try to make you have a great experience in London.
We will definitely come back!
Great at communication and liked the follow up messages to check everything was ok
Julie and Reece were kind and let us have early check in and left a welcome basket of goodies for us. The apt. Was very conveniently located close to everything you could want to see. There is a well thought out "manual" of how-to-use describing the function of the amenities, the house rules, and also giving tips on local shopping, dining and attractions. As well maps and guides were left out for our use. Too often this little helpful extra step is not done by owners and was greatly appreciated by us. They checked on us after the first day to see that all was going smoothly but we're never intrusive. Overall I would highly recommend their place.
We had a wonderful stay here. Reece and Julie are fabulous hosts and work very hard to make sure that their guests have everything that they need. All our questions were always answered promptly and Reece was there to welcome us and help us settle in. There was a bottle of wine and everything that we needed for breakfast to welcome us. This apartment is perfect for any traveller coming to London. 5 star hosts and an excellent base for exploring London. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip. thank you so much Reece and Julie.
We loved Julie and Reece's flat. The flat has everything you need for a short or even a long stay in London: a kitchen with all appliances needed (dishwasher, hob, a small fridge, freezer...), a good bed and a reception with a small sofa. The flat is very (website hidden): We had a problem with the hot water during the shower: the water has finished after around 10 mins. We had contacted Julie and after 2 days they fixed the problem. They even told us to take a shower at a gym near there if the water in the flat has finished.
Despite this problem, everything had ran perfect. I strong recommend the flat and Julie and Reece for the Airbnb community and can rent it again for sure.

About the Host, Reece And Julie
Hi, we're Reece & Julie. We're Londoners and know the area really well and we love it. As well as hosting, we also love to travel the world being guests - which helps us be better hosts!
For us, airbnb is a family affair and we all get involved. If you book with us you might also get to speak to or meet Reece's parents - Bev & Steve. We're an international family and we're all friendly and we love airbnbing - we meet some really fantastic people!
The best parts of SE1 and SE16 are Borough Market, Maltby Street Market, Tower Bridge, the Tate Modern, the London Eye and all the festivals and events that happen along the river Thames. It's also amazingly close to all the other good bits like Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square, Oxford Street and Covent Garden.
