The space

We're near Lake Champlain. It's a basement suite with its own entrance, so you can be assured of privacy. The suite can sleep five-- we have a king-size bed in one bedroom, a full-size bed in the other, and there is a pull-out couch in the living room. The bedrooms have big windows and are quite sunny. The suite also has a large living room, a full bathroom, and a kitchen with microwave (but no stove). We're equipped Wi-Fi internet and TV you can watch Netflix YouTube .

We are about a 20-minute walk from North Beach, and 5 minutes from the Burlington bike path, which runs along the lakeshore. We have bikes you can borrow, if you like. My husband and I both work days, full time, so we would like you to check in after 4:30 p.m., if possible. If this is not possible give us a call and we'll figure something out. Small dogs are okay-- I love animals.

There will be an extra charge of $25 per person per night if there are more than two people in your group (not counting babies).

The Burlington bike path is beautiful, the lake and mountains will give you wonderful memories. It's a 20 minute bike ride from my house to Church Street and the waterfront at the foot of Main Street and you can explore downtown Burlington, enjoy good food and lots of activities.

Interaction with guests

Very convenient to shops, restaurants, Lake Champlain. Welcoming owners. Easy to book. Very reasonable rates. A few quirks like H/C water lines reversed and a musty smell. Bathroom was not freshly cleaned-considerable soap scum and large used bar of soap in dish. Shelf above sink was dirty. Bathtub was awkward exit/entrance-had to use step stool (provided), handrails and stepping in backwards to get in/out. Handrails were installed, but agility.needed.

Very comfortable space, close to downtown Burlington and Winooski, and right next to one the world's most scenic bike paths along Lake Champlain. Our hosts were also quite charming. Highly recommended.

Excellent location just 2 blocks from the Island Line bike trail. It was a huge help to be able to use Shouyan's bicycle. Coffee and oatmeal in the apartment were appreciated.

Quick Uber to downtown. Plenty of space. Great to have 2 bedrooms.

Nice firm beds, clean linens. Cozy and simple, and very quiet. Even closer to downtown than we expected!

Shouyan's place was perfect for our short stay in Burlington. While it's not directly downtown, it is a very short drive (or bicycle ride) into town. It's located in a relaxed and quiet neighborhood, a few minutes walk from a gorgeous view of the lake. The downstairs apartment where we stayed was comfortable, quiet, and very spacious. Shouyan was very accommodating with check-in and check-out, and very friendly. We would stay again anytime!
