About this listing
Comfortable 2-bedroom suite with its own entrance in Burlington's New North End. Three miles from downtown, four from the Univ. of Vermont. Easy walk (or bike ride) to Lake Champlain, the Burlington bike path, and Leddy Park.
We're near Lake Champlain. It's a basement suite with its own entrance, so you can be assured of privacy. The suite can sleep five-- we have a king-size bed in one bedroom, a full-size bed in the other, and there is a pull-out couch in the living room. The bedrooms have big windows and are quite sunny. The suite also has a large living room, a full bathroom, and a kitchen with microwave (but no stove). We're equipped with cable t.v. and Wi-Fi internet.
We are about a 20-minute walk from North Beach, and 5 minutes from the Burlington bike path, which runs along the lakeshore. We have bikes you can borrow, if you like. My husband and I both work days, full time, so we would like you to check in after 4:30 p.m., if possible. If this is not possible give us a call and we'll figure something out. Small dogs are okay-- I love animals.
There will be an extra charge of $25 per person per night if there are more than two people in your group (not counting babies).
The Burlington bike path is beautiful, the lake and mountains will give you wonderful memories. It's a 20 minute bike ride from my house to Church Street and the waterfront at the foot of Main Street and you can explore downtown Burlington, enjoy good food and lots of activities.

Oh, my stars, what a wonderful gift.
Shouyan and her family live around the corner, so this HUGE, truly spacious basement apartment was like the guest suite we don't have. All prior accolades are accurate and deserved. My energetic mother appreciated the many luxuries. Did I mention that this place is huge? Roomy. Light. We will book early and often for our guests. This place is the real deal!
Great stay. Clean, spacious. Shouyan is a terrific host. In our brief meeting when I arrived, it became quickly apparent that this would be a good stay. Flexible with check in times, warm personality, very funny stories, felt like home. Access to the bike path going north/south is as advertised. Thanks for a great visit!
Our hosts were welcoming and flexible. The place is spacious, but being in a basement gives a musty feeling. In addition, following the many positive reviews we expected the place to be cleaner.
The neighborhood is nice and quiet, and located 10 minutes drive from downtown.
We had a great stay at her place. We only stayed two nights but we really enjoyed the flat. It is very well equipped and clean, and also very quiet, as the house is located in a residential area. This area of Burlington is a perfect place to discover nice landscapes, there is a long hiking trail that can be easily reached five minutes on foot from the house, and the beach is very close as well. We will definitely come back one day !
Jeremy was there when I arrived and showed me the apartment; he was extremely pleasant and helpful. The apartment was as described and the neighborhood very quiet. The location was ideal for me. Great place to stay!
