Hey it's our house so we will be here. Interaction is up to you. If you want to talk, that's great! We love meeting new people and exchanging stories. The quiet type? That's fine too. After all, your bedroom has a door that you are welcome to close and we will leave you be.
We do have 2 small dogs that are not allowed in your spaces. We understand what it is like to want to bring your pet along, so we do allow one small pet per room for an additional fee.
This is a quintessential New England neighborhood. Traditional style homes on tree lined streets. We have an Apple Harvest Festival annually every October during the apple harvest season. The festival is a town-wide event lasting three days that includes various rides and attractions, including booths from many of the local town businesses and politicians. Other events include the Under a Strawberry Moon Festival in June and various events held by the local town historical society.
Beautiful suburban neighborhood near Rt. 2, 83 & Rt. 94; I-84 east/west; I-91North and South. There is a large variety of restaurants and shops in downtown Glastonbury. You MUST have car as closest bus stop is miles away and schedule is infrequent. Easy commute, however, to local universities, colleges and large corporations.
This is a great place to stay while looking for an apartment or home or home base for sightseeing in New England. Boston is 2 hours away; Mystic and shorelines are within an hour; Hartford’s downtown is 15 minutes.

We stayed with Queenie to break up a long ride. She was a lovely host and the location was very quiet. A very nice change from staying along the highway.
I think it is really nice. The rooms are all clean and fancy.
Queenie and Ted are very friendly . They are helpful and gave me a lot of help. I feel like staying with them.
I would likely to recommend it if you want a quiet friendly atmosphere.
Queenie was a fantastic host. She made her home feel like our home during our stay. I highly recommend staying with Queenie if you are in Connecticut. She is very knowledgable about the area and will certainly be able to suggest sites to see and activities during your visit.
Queenie was the perfect hostess . Very accommodating . The room was large , clean and nicely appointed. It had its own refrigeration unit and a small microwave. The bed was very comfortable .
I had the hallway bathroom all for myself. The two resident dogs very alert and friendly. I would recommend it to anyone driving and traveling the northeast corridor. I wish you Queenie much luck in your future plans and much health and love always.
I came in fairly late and Queenie was very accommodating. She gave me the option of using a robe if I needed it (I didn't). We got to talk a bit and gave me pointers about Hartford.
She provided a good breakfast and coffee, too.
Wow. Queenie and Ted could not do anything more to be better hosts. It felt like home from the second I got to the door, up until the moment I left.
Great breakfast, which helped a lot for the bike ride and a spectacular bit of CT.
Thank you for everything, you were so brilliant, and helped me out with the bike issues- without which, I would have been completely stuck!
