A great cottage experience in a beautiful part of the County. Explore the South Shore! Near Picton, wineries, farms, and Sandbanks. Bring your bike, go for a hike, or hang out at the dock. A birder's paradise. Get away and play at Wildflower Cottage.

The space
*new! 2 night minimum!

**We are making extra effort to ensure a clean accommodation with professional cleaners! Please be aware that in the rural location, there are insects (mosquitos, ants, spiders etc) and other wildlife that may visit! We love the natural and rustic experience- be sure that you are looking for this! It isn’t a boutique hotel!

***Also please note that the waterfront and dock is across the crescent and down a path about 50 metres. The cottage itself is not directly on the water!

This is the County holiday rental you dream of. On a quiet cottage lane, less than 15 minutes from Picton, 20 minutes from Sandbanks and featuring waterfront access on a private shared beach. The swimming is amazing!

The pleasure begins as you drive down one of the most picturesque and scenic roads in the County (Morrison Point Road) on your way to Goodman Crescent. The farm fields overlooking the waterfront, century old stone walls, Vicki's Veggies farm stand, and the Black River Cheese Factory welcome you before you even get to the door of the 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom vintage Canadian-styled cottage.

Enjoy the best the County has to offer: Wineries, restaurants, farms, and artisans are just moments away. The cycling is world-class.

Hang out at the cottage dock and go for a dip- the gradual entry is great for kids. We boast "5-star fishing" (4 kinds of trout, walleye, perch, pike, bass, and then some!). Firepit and BBQ to enjoy the nights under the starry sky, Birdwatching in the backyard (near National birding area)

What more could you ask for?

Linens and toiletries provided, WiFi, pets allowed (10$ per night)

Book your dates now! We look forward to welcoming you to this little piece of County paradise.

Guest access
You have the whole cottage including back yard and walk down a shady trail to the dock (shared with a couple other cottages). Nice neighbours.

We are a respectful family with a great sense of style and grace! We like to work hard with our hands and creativity. We try to contribute positively to our community. Lenny, a filmmaker and part-time university/college professor, regularly volunteers with charitable and not-profit arts and cultural groups. Keri, was once a teacher, but after an inspiring career change, now is found building houses (specifically sustainable ones). We love living in the County and are grateful to have the opportunity to share our cottage and our homestead suite with travellers from near and far. Each year our fruit trees will bloom, the sap will run, and we'll do our best to go on living 'La Vie a la Campagne'!
