🚤 Water Taxi

The Shanty Pineapple is only accessible by boat.

**October–July:** Your stay includes **2 complimentary water taxi rides** (check-in and check-out), subject to Captain Tony's availability.

**August–September:** Water taxi rides are **$20 each way** (only with captain Tony)

Additional rides are available subject to Captain Tony's availability. If we're unavailable, we're happy to recommend other local captains, whose rates typically range from **$40–$100 per ride.**

Regular transportation hours are **9:00 AM–9:00 PM.**

Transportation outside these hours requires advance notice, is subject to availability, and may incur higher after-hours fees.

Guest Access

Guests have private access to the entire houseboat during their stay.

The houseboat remains securely anchored and **may not be operated by guests.**

For safety reasons, guests are **not permitted on the roof.**

Important Information

Florida law requires anyone **born on or after January 1, 1988** to complete a free boating safety course before operating any rented vessel during optional charters. If applicable, please send your certificate through Airbnb after booking.

Guests are never permitted to operate the houseboat.

Cancellation Policy

The standard Airbnb cancellation policy applies **except** for the following:

• Reservations during holidays and special events (Fantasy Fest, Christmas, New Year's, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Independence Day, boat races, and similar events).

• Reservations made **more than six (6) months before arrival.**

These reservations require cancellation **at least 30 days before check-in** to receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival are non-refundable.

Guest access
We offer a convenient water taxi service for both check-in and check-out to ensure a seamless arrival and departure experience. Your stay includes two complimentary rides, subject to the captain's availability . Between 9am - 10pm, Additional rides are available fee’s can rate between $25-$100. Per ride, any rides after 10pm have the higher rates $50+ per ride, giving you the perfect opportunity to explore the area or visit nearby attractions during your stay. If our captains are not available at your requested times I can forward you the contact info to a dedicated company that offers multi shuttles thru out the day. Which they charge $55. Per ride per person plus luggage fees. Ship to shore. They only run from 9am until sunset.

This stay is out on the bay, anchored, Shanty pineapple is only accessible by boat, must schedule in water taxi with Capt. Tony or other options provided by host. Guests are responsible for direct payment to water taxi company / Captain

Important – Holiday & Special Event Policy:
Bookings that include holidays or special events are not subject to the 24-hour flexible cancellation policy.
For all holidays and special events (including Fantasy Fest, 4th of July, New Year’s, Christmas, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, boat races, and similar events), cancellations must be made at least 30 days prior to arrival to receive a full refund.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations within 30 days of check-in for these dates.

State of Florida requires anyone born on 1988 or after must complete or have a Florida boaters safety course. A few links will be provided or if you already have one send us a copy once booking has been made.
