Other things to note
If you love to bike you are in 7th heaven as Nisene Marks State Redwood Forest is merely 1/8 mile away and is full of bike trails that culminate in a steep climb (if you wish) to a summit which offers amazing views of Monterey Bay. You can also arrange for a ride to the top and coast down. In addition it is a beautiful park to hike and picnic.
Seacliff State Beach is merely yards from the house across a field and down the state park stairs. It is a wonderful beach with tables and BBQs, and a wharf which is connected to an old cement ship and a history museum.
Nearby is Land of the Medicine Buddha a Buddhist Retreat open in the daytime hours to the public for hiking. It is lovely and peaceful with prayer flags and prayer wheels and an Enchanted Forest. Check it out online.

"We love meeting the people who come to our AirBnB. It is the primary reason we have started it. We also stay in AirBnB homes when we travel and it has enhanced our travels immensely. Believe it or not we found out about AirBnB in Bosnia on a trip in 2011. It can be whatever you want it to be. We sometimes choose a place because of the descriptions of the host!! Why travel so far away and not meet the people that represent the culture of the land you are exploring? AirBnB has enriched our lives."
