I do speak German, English and French and look forward to give you some insider information about Düsseldorf .
Please kindly respect the neighbourhood (not too much noise between 22 p.m. and 8 a.m).
During winter times, please reduce the heating to grade "2" if you leave the apartment for a whole day. Do not leave the window open for a longer time when the heating is on - 5 minutes are sufficient to aerate the room ! All this helps to save energy, thanks !.
If time permits, please leave the kitchen clean and with empty waste bins, thank you !
No problem to leave empty plastic bottles etc., I know it is sometimes difficult to give them back. But please consider that you have paid a 25 cent (plastic) or 8-15 cent (glass) deposit on the bottles which you will get back in each supermarket according to German recyling policy !

Hello to everybody from all over the world !
Having worked in the tourism industry for many years, it is a pleasure for me to welcome people from foreign countries and share information about Düsseldorf and it's surrounding. I love to travel, run and swim, do enjoy cinema, the French apéritives and a glass of good dark German beer (Altbier!) from time to time.
