Northwood Cottage, nestled in Northport at the tip of the Leelanau Peninsula, is a cozy, newly-decorated cottage offering a perfect retreat. Just a stroll from both beach and town, it features its own patio, a welcoming fireplace and ample opportunities to relax and hike in the serene surroundings. Ideal for those seeking tranquility and outdoor adventure, Northwood Cottage is your doorway to the most untraveled portion of the Leelanau Peninsula.

The space
Northwood Cottage shares several acres of land with seven other cottages. Our cottage is one of the larger remaining cottages from a resort that occupied this area beginning in the 1920s. Northwood Cottage has been extensively modernized and updated in recent years and sleeps six in two bedrooms, one with a queen bed, one with a full bed, and a queen sofa sleeper in the living room. The full bathroom though small, includes a shower, sink and vanity as well as a toilet.
