Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • Tee was a very responsive host and allowed us to leave our belongings in his place until late afternoon. The condo is located in the heart of the city of Chicago and is was a breeze to get around and walk the city or grab a taxi right away. The place itself was very clean and comfortable with a really good heating system since it was sometimes even 0 degrees outside. We loved staying here and I would highly recommend this location to everybody, especially since the host is easy to talk to and makes you feel like you're at home.

  • Amazing location, easy walking distance to anywhere we wanted to go in Chicago! It was a great home base for our first visit there. It's a quirky little place that grows on you.

  • The location was the best thing about this Airbnb. The towels and bedding were clean too at least. Check-in was also pretty easy.

However, the apartment itself wasn't that clean. There seemed to be hair everywhere. Another issue is the second bed (not really a bedroom) is located on the side with the main street and there seemed to be gaps in the window right next to it so cold air was coming in and a lot of noise all through the night. Also, we kept smelling cigarette smoke in the apartment. There was definitely no shampoo or soap. Luckily, I had a bar of soap on me. All of my other Airbnb experiences have been much better than this for the price so I guess my expectations were higher than what we encountered here.

    Response from ChicagoDailyRentals:

I am sorry that the place wasn't clean, I wish you would have communicated that with us and we could have send back the housekeeper. Like I mentioned in the House Manuel I sent to you prior to booking, I encourage all my guest to call or text me for any concerns anytime. In regards to the second bed it's clearly explained that the space is a loft style room and you can also see it in the picture. This unit is also located downtown near the hustle and bustle. The house manual also states that we do not provide personal items such as soap, lotion etc... because of liability issues. Again I apologize for your experience but I must say you should have read the House Manuel and called us for your issues. All my previous guests had had an amazing experience at my unit.

  • Great location. Had a very nice week long stay at the apartment. Highly recommend.

  • Tee was a wonderful host and I wish I could have stayed longer. The interior design was delightful, and all towels, bedding, etc. were clean and fresh. Very spacious and central to everywhere you want to be in downtown Chicago. Tee himself is incredibly kind and hospitable, and was available for anything I needed. He was also accommodating to my particular needs, which I am grateful for. I was there for a wedding, but I want to return just to stay at this apartment again!

    October 2013
  • It was very nice to stay at Tee's place, location is premium and the apartment is at a 4th. floor, very clean, organized and beautiful. Thanks Tee!

  • This place is in the middle of everything. The red line is literally on the corner of the block. It's two blocks away from a whole foods and many bars and restaurants. It's also only a few blocks from the contemporary art museum and lake front for your morning run. It was clean and Tee conducted the check-in as he said he would. The TV is small and doesn't get many channels but if you plan on spending most of your time outside and in the city it shouldn't matter. There are plenty of places to catch a game in the neighborhood. Good size for four people.

    October 2013
  • The apartment is clean, pretty with nice furniture and modern decorated.

The location is perfect, you can reach the most point of interest by foot or with the close subway. However a central location implicates also some noise due to the traffic. But with earplugs no problem at all. ;)

The renter, Lee, is a friendly person and he was always endeavored to response quickly on our questions.

We can highly recommend this apartment. Don’t hesitate to book it.

  • Nice, clean, and perfect location. Tee was very pleasant to work with. 6 people made it a little crowded. Would be perfect for a group of 4.
