Casa Limon sits in the heart of the Old Town of Fethiye and offers a wonderful base for exploring the diverting and lively town, its restaurants and activities, and the stunning Turquoise coast, while enjoying commanding panoramic views.
Casa Limon is a penthouse apartment that sits above the harbour of Fethiye, with a splendid 30 m2 terrace overlooking the bay, the Old Town, and the marina, from where you can see boats large and small coming and going. Casa Limon comprises a private secure entrance, lounge with views out to sea, two double bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and jacuzzi bath, and a fully equipped kitchen.
You will also find air conditioning and a barbecue at Limon.
Casa Limon is within a few minutes’ walk of the town’s historic centre with eateries, bistros, coffee and tea houses, and the open Fish Market and the apartment is just next to the ancient Amphitheatre of Telemssos.
Just below the house the boats leave to go over to the nearby island of Sovalye.
200m away are the boats that leave for day and longer trips of the surrounding area including the 12 island tour.
It is a 5 minute walk to the bus stop which can take you to local crystal clear beaches dotted with pine trees 15 minutes away or other local areas of interest such as Oludeniz (The Blue Lagoon), the Saklikent Canyon or the ancient Greek and Roman cities of Tlos, Xantos and Patara.
The ferry port for Rhodes is 100m away.
We welcome your enquiries about Limon House, as well as Fethiye and the region, and we are always ready to give travel and other advice in hopes of making your stay with us a happy and memorable one.
The Aegean coast of Turkey is the cradle of many civilizations, and a magical corner of the Mediterranean, waiting for you to discover …… faraway and different from the usual.
You will find a clear sea, rocky cliffs, and beaches surrounded by the olive groves and fragrant pine trees that dot the bays and islands.
The popular and yet restful resort of Fethiye sits in a beautiful bay encircled by green hills, which are crowned by the ruins of a fortress built by the Knights of Rhodes, giving it great views of the port below and the sea beyond. The marina is the working heart of the town and leads on to charming streets dotted with shops and restaurants. There is a very good fish market in the centre of town where you can buy your fresh fish directly from the fishermen, and then choose which of the surrounding small restaurants will cook your food for you, to your taste. In the evenings, there is a vibrant and intimate selection of bars and restaurants for you to enjoy.
Paspatur. This is the centre and heart of old Fethiye. It is full of souvenir shops, eateries and bars. You will find it easily by walking around Akbank, opposite the Yat Taxi stand.
Restaurants. They are plenty of restaurants in Fethiye to cater for all tastes. You can indulge in Turkish cooking, similar to Mediterranean cuisine with a hint of Arabia. Try Turkish pizzas which are called pide, dolma which is stuffed green peppers or eggplants and wonderful lentil dishes. One of our favourite is Megri Lokantasi at the end of Paspatur where they lay out all the food and you choose what you want. There is a more elaborate restaurant specialising in meat with the same name, Megri, which is in the middle of Paspatur. A noted kebab eatery is Pasha Kebab, some 30 meters from the Megri Lokantasi on the main shopping street called Carsi Street (pronounced chiarshi street). Next to Pasha kebab, is a great patisserie specialising in baklava if you feel like having this Arabic sweet.
Hamman for anyone? Fethiye is a hot place, but if you want a hot traditional Turkish bath, there is one right in the heart of Paspatur. The hamman dates back five centuries. Massages are also available.
We felt very welcome and communication was clear throughout the process of booking and staying at the apartment. We would highly recommend, Thank you!
The apartment has the most amazing view that you will never tire of. The steps to the apartment are steep but well worth the climb. The beach isn't nearby but we loved taking the water taxi to Calis beach (30 mins - 12 lira rtn) where you can also watch the most amazing sunsets.
Noi siamo stati in agosto. Se posso permettermi di dare un consiglio, il mese peggiore per quanto riguarda il clima! Un caldo umido incredibile, non abbiamo potuto goderci la vista sul terrazzo più di tanto per quanto caldo faceva. Per il resto tutto perfetto!
We spent 2 weeks in Limon House and would have liked to stay longer. The apartment is immaculate - spacious and comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen. It has everything you need, including a washing machine, an iron, hairdryer, swimming towels. But the best thing about the apartment of course is the million dollar views of Fethiye bay. We were happy just to spend time in the apartment enjoying the views and also the huge balcony with even better views! Our host, Paolo, was easy to communicate with and the booking and arrival went very smoothly. Although Paolo wasn't around much during our visit, he always responded promptly to emails or text messages (pity my phone wasn't working though!) and his colleague Gelal was very helpful and fixed a couple of minor things. Of course the views don't come for free - it's a hike up the stairs but fortunately Paolo and Gelal were there to help with our cases on arrival and when we left. If we are lucky enough ever to return to Fethiye, we would only want to stay at Limon House to enjoy the comfort and those amazing views! Thank you Paolo and Gelal for hosting us and it was a pleasure to meet you both.
Our stay at Limon House was really worth it. The view was spectacular, it had a big patio where we were able to grill fish. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and Paolo was very helpful in whatever we needed.
My only wish was that there was a direct WIFI in the apartment.
Nevertheless, we would rent his apartment again if we comeback to Fethiye!
Paolo is a great host who was extremely helpful whenever we had any requests. He even helped us with our luggage both to and from the amazing apartment we stayed in.
We would thoroughly recommend staying as the views are amazing and Paolo is literally just a minutes walk away. We would definitely go back to stay in this wonderful apartment. Thanks Paolo!

I live between Italy and Turkey and love helping people find their perfect homes for their perfect holiday in beautiful parts of the world! I'm a keen sailor and enjoy cooking friends proper big Italian dinners.
I have always liked the saying, and the song: The best is yet to come.
