The picturesque neighborhood named “Pigneto”, where you can live the “true Roman” life – night and day! Pigneto is one of Rome's most beloved, and most popular, destinations, an alternative and trendy Roman area full of graffittis, bohemian bars and stylish urbanists. Artists of every sort congregate in Pigneto. Culinary experimenters, al fresco painters, and aspiring philosophers gather around cafe tables, street lamps, and bar counters.
“Pigneto is known as one of the most fashionable and artistic Rome neighborhoods, famous as the favourite set of Pasolini and Neo Realism cinema and a trendy area mixed with the flavor of the old and authentic Rome” (Read more in airbnb/locations/rome/pigneto and in lonelyplanet italy/rome/travel-tips-and-articles/76709#ixzz2wspmlvb6)

We are a family of Cuban father - Uruguayan mother and 3 kids of 16-15-8 years old, born in Italy.
We are a multicultural, friendly, a bit crazy and noisy family, but very hospitable!!! We love to share life moments with our hosts, to tell them about our city and our culture(s) and to learn from them about their culture and their places of origin.
As I like to say: we travel in the opposite sense: instead of "going" to different places in the world, the "world" comes to me from different places!!!
This is what I enjoy the most from this exchanges.
I also love when we "make the difference" for my hosts, and believe me that you - future host - can also make the difference for us!!!!!
It's fantastic to have new friends all over the world, to keep in touch with them, this opens our mind – specially our children minds - a lot!!!!
So, come and enjoy the multi-faceted experience of visiting this astonishing city, living in a trendy purely roman neighborhood, in the context of a multicultural and friendly family.
We are willing to share with you our love for this city and for the people of all the world.
The apt along with the host is everything you would ever want! She is extremely helpful, willing to help and always there to show you the way. She even brought us to a traditional roman restaurant and helped us order our meals. She starts you off with milk and the essential groceries to have a nice breakfast. The apt is exactly how it looks in the pictures and pretty easy to get to. She is an extremely kind host who goes above and beyond. The only con is that it is about a 20-30 minute travel to the city centre, and in the dead heat of summer at the busiest of times, it can suck. But if your going to Rome, public transport is the way, so there's not much avoiding it anyway. It's a lovely stay in a quiet neighbourhood with a gracious host.
Isidora is an amazing host! From check in to check out everything was so well organized. Her place was very clean and not too far from bus stops. She showed us this authentic family restaurant, even came out to help us order our dinner! She called taxis for us and told us a lot about Rome making us feel at home. Definitely coming back next time!
Me and my boyfriend had a lovely stay at Isidora's apartment! The location is good, only 20 or so minutes from the main train station and is a nice change of pace from the hustle and bustle of the busy city.
Isidora gave us some great recommendations and her and her family were very friendly and accommodating!
The apartment is quite small, just big enough for two comfortably but I would defenitely recommend it to friends.
Amazing host. Very flexible in terms of hours and she sent us a lot of maps and all needed directions to arrive to the flat. Quite close to a bus station that goes to the center. Breakfast was prepared ^^. Very nice stay.
I am not sure how much justice this comment will do regarding just how wonderful Isidora's BNB truly Is. First off, the apartment-style accommodation had everything we needed for our 11 day stay. Upon arrival the room was clean and looked just as the pictures show. Our space was private and we felt safe in the neighborhood. More importantly, though, is not the house, but Irene herself. She made our days in Rome an authentic educational experience. She is incredibly knowledgeable and posses a profound pride for the city in which she lives. She made sure our itinerary was not only full, but consisted of not-so-touristy elements. She transcended what was not only in our guidebook, but she also went beyond her duties as our host by taking us in her car to the catacombs and ordering for us at two local eateries (which is a must!). Irene and her family are truly genuine people. You will not regret staying at Isidora's BNB.

Isadora was very accommodating--she made sure that we were comfortable and even took us all to a nearby playground and gelateria (which our kids liked a lot). The place is small for 4 people but fine for a short stay. She also arranged for a cab driver to at Fiumicino airport when we landed (at the regular going rate) which spared us some of the headache of finding transportation with 2 young kids. The place is available on a one-night basis which worked really well for us. Thank you, Isadora!
We loved this apt! It was perfect for a one night stay in Rome. We booked it last minute and Isidora had everything ready for us. She even called us a taxi for us and made sure we had everything we needed it! We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Rome. :)
Our host was very nice and friendly.
The location was good in a slightly more residential area away from tourists but local buses transportation was convenient to major touristic spots.
The apartment might be a bit difficult to locate at first but once we arrived we have no problem.
The apartment was not big just enough for our 2 days stay.
All in all its a positive experience
The host, Isidora was really kind and nice, but the place was smaller than I expected and picture it shown.
Especially, the kitchen, it was really hard to use because it was small and the setting was uncomfortable. Also, the shower booth had water leak and the sink couldn't drain the water properly.
The location was OK.
Our stay in Rome was unfortunately very brief, but we had a wonderful stay with Isadora. The studio had everything we needed, and was very comfortable and clean. Though Pigneto is a bit outside the city center, we found it very easy to get around using public transportation, and Isadora helped us to navigate the system. We also enjoyed exploring the Pigneto neighborhood and had a wonderful meal at a historic restaurant called Bar Necci. Overall a very enjoyable experience at a very reasonable price. Thanks for everything, Isadora! Looking forward to coming back to Rome for a longer stay in the future.
