Interaction with Guests
It's a house full of people & different schedules. So please use ear plugs if necessary. If you're a light sleeper or can't sleep on a single mattress, this may not be the right place for you.

Vic was an awesome host! Vic made a great effort to build a sense of community with everyone in the hackerhome network, which included hosting regular parties, dinners, and social events. The house was always kept tidy, and maids came at least once a week to clean it. The housemates I lived with were totally chill and everyone got along with one another. I had a misunderstanding related to the duration of my stay, which was completely on my end, and Vic went above and beyond to fix the situation when I suspect others would have left me high and dry. Vic was a great communicator and always replied to my emails within hours, usually within half an hour. Overall, it was a great experience.
Vic was very responsive to my feedback. When I discussed noises caused by the shaky bunk bed, he was quick to take action and replace bed. Overall, it was a good experience staying there.
Everyone in the house was friendly and welcoming. Very helpful in giving advice on the cheapest ways around town. I found the Bart station was very close and this made getting into town very easy for me
I had a great experience staying with Vic in his Mountain View home so I tried his Daly City house too.
The neighborhood is bleak compared to what's available in the Bay Area but this didn't surprise me. The reason to be in Daly City is for cheap proximity to San Francisco and this house delivers. The BART station is a five minute walk away.
There were some non-hacker travelers staying in this home I think because it's cheap. I made some new friends and had a good experience.
The host Vic is just a tremendous community builder! I felt like I had a social circle in the bay area as soon as I attended one of his infamous BBQ parties! Infact I was lucky enough to be able to attend two of them during my short stay! Keep em going Vic!!
Vic was great. I changed my itinerary about 5 times and it was never a problem.
