Original 1957 Jackrabbit Joshua Tree Homestead Cabin. with a Hot Tub!

Cabin is small at about 400 sqft. and has terrific views across the Mojave desert.

The single room has two (2) full size beds with new casper mattresses , & organic cotton sheets.

Small original kitchen has full refrigerator, microwave, and stove. Outdoor fire pit and BBQ. Full Speed Wifi and Smart TV

Cabin has original bathroom with cabin shower, toilet and sink.

The space
Original Jack Rabbit Mid Century Homestead Cabin. Cabin has indoor bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. It also has Small Kitchenette with sink, refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, and essentials. There are two new full size mattresses beds with casper mattresses. Nice cotton sheets. Full kitchen with new stove and refrigerator. Good for Campers and visitors that know Joshua Tree National Park. Great Place to stay and hike and have a campfire. It has a new Air Conditioning for the Summer! Travel Trailer does NOT have ac or heat. Just for fun! (not appropriate for sleeping)

If you want to use fire pit or bbq please check propane available when you arrive. Propane is NOT supplied as a rule. There are 3 tanks there and if you need you can swap the tank out at any local store for small fee.

24 hour access. Hiking Cabin on 5 private acres hiking distance to Joshua Tree Park. Mid-Century Charm, Hot Shower, Bathroom, Small Kitchenette and lots of hiking.

Other things to note
There is a ban on outdoor WOOD burning fires. There is a propane fire pit and propane bbq to use if you want. I try to supply propane but you may need to swap out an empty tank for a new one at any store in Joshua Tree or Home Depot. Please check the propane to see if you need more.

This is a simple basic rustic hiking cabin. There are neighbors but it can feel very remote in the desert and park. It's close to village of Joshua Tree and is in the city limits but does feel remote. Beautiful place to hike from or camp from. Great views across the valley. Original Jackrabbit Homestead in Joshua tree, circa 1956. Close to village of Joshua Tree and 10 minutes to Park. Nice new mattresses and premium sheets. Travel Trailer does NOT have ac or heat or lights

DESERT LIVING: One of our favorite things about being in nature is the wildlife, so don't be surprised if you run into a few unexpected guests in the surrounding areas - you might see wild rabbits, coyotes, mice, beetles, snakes, and spiders. Keep in mind that the desert is their home and it's all part of the adventure.

WiFi: Please note that there is cellphone signal at the house and we offer WiFi so you can stay connected, if you want :)

PARKING: Please park in the driveway

SEPTIC: The house is on a septic system, please do not flush anything other than toilet paper.

Neighborhood highlights

Panorama Heights is the premium neighborhood in Joshua Tree. It is south of the 29 Palms Highway and is tucked up against the mountains. The Little house sits on the hill and It feels remote but there are neighbors. Most of the roads in Joshua Tree are dirt roads and this is the case for this cabin. It's close to the town of Joshua Tree and close to the park.
