Great cottage, and Cassie had thought of pretty much everything we could need ahead of our arrival! Would thoroughly recommend staying!
Cassie was very friendly and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. The flat was very cosy and had a nice feel about it. The pub next door did really nice food and the staff were very friendly. We enjoyed swimming in the sea on the beach which was a two minute walk. The village is beautiful and relaxing. No mobile phone coverage which was nice!.
We absolutely loved staying in this beautiful thatched property. The apartment was immaculate & the host made us feel so welcome - she was really great at recommending places to visit & giving us directions! The apartment was a stone's throw from the pub (which serves amazing pies, very welcome after our long drive down!) & about 5 minutes from the beach which is a little paradise, perfect for a romantic picnic or early morning paddle! A car is a necessity but the location is very convenient - there is a large supermarket close by so you can stock up on supplies & it is easy to drive to Dartmouth & Torquay. There is also a lovely coastel walk to nearby village Sheldon...the views are awesome but be warned despite only being a short 3 miles it is all hills - so worth it thouh (plus you can always get a taxi back like we did, which was very cheap!!). Definitely recommend staying at the property.
We definitely recommend this property & would love to return!
