Happy people around. Come breathe easy and relax!
No smoking ANYWHERE on the premises and no campfires. Please drive slowly on the driveway as there are two not so street smart dogs present. Since this is a working farm we all have to rise early. We ask that you be quiet after 10:00 PM. If you are arriving in the evening please be mindful how much noise you make (closing car doors, small children, voices, car alarms). You will be given the gate code and may come and go as you please but if you do come in late please be quiet. This motor home will be our retirement home, please treat it with respect.
Please no feminine products down the toilet.
Our first Airbnb experience! We had a lovely visit. Everything was as described, and the motor home was very spacious for us and our two sons. We enjoyed exploring the farm; meeting the ducks, chickens, horse, lizards, and dogs; and admiring all that was blooming. Ann was exceptionally welcoming. We had let her know that our son was experimenting with his own seedling business, and she took time to ask him questions, encourage his pursuits, and teach him about what is growing on the farm. She even sent us home with a dahlia plant for him to grow. A great getaway from LA.
Ann and Andy were very welcoming! The motor home was spotless and comfortable. My husband and I recommend this airbnb if you want to get in touch with nature and feel a little off the grid!
Our host made contact with us right away when we made inquiries about the location. She gave us accurate information about the location, directions to the location and how to enter the front gate.
My husband and I rode the Amtrak from Los Angeles to Ventura. We brought our bikes with us along with our clothes in backpacks. We rode our bikes from the train to Vons on Main street then north on the Ventrua Bike path to the farm. It was a pleasant ride with a gentle uphill.
The motorhome was as described in the Airbnb post. There was plenty of room for the two of us. The cabinets were stocked with food and there were fresh duck and chicken eggs in the refrigerator.
Ann and Andy made us feel very welcome and showed us around the farm and shared the history of it's development.
The motor home was very spacious and well equipped. We had plenty of room and plenty of privacy. Ann checked in on us by text message the next morning to see if we needed anything. She stocked the place with fresh fruit and breakfast foods, coffee, creamer, cereal, oatmeal, milk, cream, and juice. We had everything we needed and a very quiet, private, visit.
This was an absolutely delightful stop on our road trip. The motor home is spacious and beautifully equipped (a bouquet of fresh organic sweet peas next to the bed; a basket of farm-fresh eggs in the fridge), but the hosts were even more delightful. Ann made us feel as if this truly was our home, and Andy gave me an enjoyable, informative tour of their organic flower farm. I highly recommend Ann & Andy's place for anyone coming to the Ventura area.
