The Space

Love House Dahlias. (website hidden)

Great private and safe space in a fully self contained big 35' motor home on a working flower farm homestead. 5 miles from the Pacific Ocean and downtown Ventura. Nice walking trails close by. Lake Casitas is also just five miles away and is lovely. We are 10 miles from artsy and laid back Ojai. 1/2 mile to bus line and bike path. The beautiful city of Santa Barbara is 25 miles from the farm. Lots of things to do and see there. Country living, city close.

Two double beds, one in a bedroom the other is a sofa bed and is very comfortable. Dining table can also be made into a bed for small children. Full kitchen with microwave, stove/oven and refrigerator/freezer, blender, coffee maker. There will be fresh fruit, coffees, teas and maybe even hot chocolate provided. Bathroom with shower.

Free wi-fi. BBQ available. Farm fresh organic eggs available. Late check ins fine. Last minute bookings fine too! We will not allow any pets anymore. Sorry.

There are lots of great restaurants in the area. If you would like recommendations just ask. Also, if you are in need of a good game of cards, see Ann.

Quiet farm with chickens, horses, ducks and dogs. Growing sweet peas, dahlias and veggies. We're organic right down to the sheets on your bed! Come and enjoy our little slice of heaven.

10% discount for week long stays. 15% discount for monthly stays.

Guest Access

Guests will have access to the veggie garden and fresh organic eggs.
The motor home has a microwave/convection oven, stove, oven, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, blender, iron and ironing board and a hair dryer. There are utensils, dishes and pots and pans. Dish, hand, body soap and shampoo are provided. There is also a DVD player for the front television, but as it says in the listing, no cable.
Towels and all bed linens are provided. There is also a BBQ and briquettes available.

Interaction with Guests

We usually greet each guest personally but sometimes we are under a deadline and have to keep working. We would love to give you a tour of the farm if you'd like. Some guests want to be more private and we respect that. The motor home is away from the main houses and it is very private.

The Neighborhood

Our farm is in a country setting but city life is only 5 miles away. There is a little country store just up the road too. Foster Park is very close for picnics or cookouts although the farm is just fine for this.

Getting around

We are just 1/2 mile from the highway. There is also a bus line by the highway.
There is a nice bike/walking path that goes North to Ojai or South along the Ventura River to the beach and on to the Ventura marina.

Other Things to Note

We don't use any chemicals on the farm. The motor home is cleaned with non-toxic essential oils.
Happy people around. Come breathe easy and relax!

  • Ann was lovely to deal with, and we really enjoyed staying on her pretty flower farm. The RV was spacious, spotles and very comfortable. It also had lots of lovely extras, like gourmet coffees and teas, and fresh fruit. The bed was small, but comfortable. We were encouraged to walk around and explore the property and we loved seeing all the animals.

  • The RV was extremely lovely and everyone on the Fram was sweet and kind. Would highly recommend to friends and family. Very near to the beaches and hiking. The property has ducks, chickens and horses. The cutest being a miniature rooster name napoleon.

  • This was my first time using airbnb, and I must say that my first experience with Ann as my host was pleasant! She's responsive, accommodating, informative, and kind. I was actually trying to find a place to stay last minute, and the fact that her listing had "instant booking" was even more helpful. I also had a lot of questions for her in such a short amount of time, and she was able to respond to me quickly, which was what I greatly appreciated. Check-in was anytime, which was great because my friend and I arrived late at night from an important event in the area. She left the lights on so it was easier to find and simply settle in after a long, extensive day. To speak about the listing, it's exactly as pictured and described. Everything was clean and organized when my friend and I arrived. The night was a bit cold like any night would be, but the comfortable bed and extra blankets provided had us warm and sleeping like babies! The neighborhood was also quiet and precious. For us, it was a different environment to be in, which was a nice experience away from everything else. Thanks, Ann, for a wonderful stay!

  • Ann was very hospitable and friendly.
The RV is in good condition, we did not feel like anything was missing, and the country is simply too good to be true, especially for those coming from cities.

I find a dose of peace and calm every time I visit Ann.
Thanks again for making this possible.

  • Such a fun experience! The farm is beautiful, the flowers delightful. The camper was clean with very thoughtful amenities for guests (fresh flowers, fresh fruit for breakfast, handy Keurig for coffee). The camper was surprisingly spacious as well.
We were not able to meet Ann, but Andy was hospitable and helpful. This was a great value and we would highly recommend it!

  • We were very impressed by this delightful place to stay. It isn't to far off of the highway and is situated at the back of the property surrounded by beautiful plants, friendly chickens, and ducks. The trailer is very clean with lots of room! You will have your own parking spot and entrance. The trailer is situated at the back of the property surrounded by beautiful plants, friendly chickens, and ducks. The host thought of everything, they provided a coffee maker, DVD player and movies. We enjoyed it very much.

  • We were very excited to visit the farm on a family weekend getaway. Based on the reviews, we expected a great experience but we were a disappointed with our visit. We picked the farm because everyone said the host was very welcoming and helpful and the motor home was clean and a nice place to stay but we sadly that was not the case for us. When we arrived, the motor home was unlocked but all the windows were closed up and it was very stuffy and musty smelling. There were ants all over the table, the bed are 3 year old was going to sleep in and the refrigerator was not running and the freezer was a huge puddle of water and melted ice cream. Ann, the host did not greet us and when I called her about the refrigerator, it seemed it was turned off somehow and then I had to clean up the melted mess. The pictures on the site must be very dated because they make the motor home seem newer and cleaner. The motor home appeared quite old and was not clean, at least not when you have two children. There were think spider webs on and behind all the blinds, the books by my 3 year old's bed were covered with ants and thick dust. The motor home, overall seemed musty and not very clean. Later that night, the children were very cold so we turned on the heater, but it blew cold air all night long. In the morning, when we went to turn on the water heater for hot water, it did not work. It seemed the propane emergency switch had been turned off causing the heater and the water heater not to work. We felt frustrated because, we would assume all these items would have been checked prior to us arriving. Maybe if it was just our husband and I, it would not have been a big deal but we had our children and we felt things should have been in working order. On the other hand, Ann did set up a thoughtful bed for our daughter and they children loved the farm and we enjoyed those elements. The farm staff on site, were wonderful and gave us eggs and let the children feed the ducks before we left. However, the accommodations were disappointing in comparison to the pictures and the reviews.

  • What a unique experience! We arrived late so Ann made sure the RV was lit up and ready. It's a great place to stay, like a whole apartment to yourselves! When we woke up we discovered the wonderful setting of the organic farm. Unbeatable value for a great place to stay
