This family house is situated in the middle of The Netherlands, in a small town called Bussum. Bussum is next to highway A1, and a 30 minute drive to cities like Amsterdam, Utrecht and Amersfoort. It also has two trainstations. One of them, Bussum-Zuid, is within walking distance of the house: 8 minutes. Several trains every hour to Amsterdam, Schiphol Airport, Utrecht and Amersfoort. All take no more than 30 minutes.
The house is a typical 60's building. The outside is nothing special, but the inside is light and white. Downstairs is a livingroom, with dining-table for 4 plus 2 children. Seperate kitchen, with gas-stove and (microwave) oven.
On the first floor there are 2 childrens bedrooms. One of them has a 'high'bed (see pictures).
The bathroom consists of a simple walk-in shower with washing basin.
The master bedroom is situated on the next floor: the attic. Washing and drying machines are located in the hall next to the master-bedroom.
A child-friendly garden with wooden picknick-table has sunlight until late afternoon.
Bussum lies at the heart of a region called Het Gooi, which is a very 'green' region. Forrest and heather, mainly. The heath, sometimes with grazing sheep and beautiful Scottish Highlanders, starts at the end of the street: 2 minutes away. It has lovely paths for walking and cycling. And, for children: several playgrounds on the edge of the nature parks. Like Heidezicht: (Website hidden by Airbnb)
