Located just one block away from the Austin Convention Center, two blocks away from the world famous 6th Street and the Warehouse District, and a small number of blocks away from every other downtown attraction including hundreds of restaurants, bars, movie theaters, lounges, nightclubs, and live music venues. The town lake walking/jogging trail is just a few blocks away, there is a yoga studio (Wanderlust) just across the street. Further, Starbucks is less than a block from the front door, as is an Uncle Julio's Mexican Food restaurant.
Arrangements for a temporary gym membership can be arranged, with several options including one that is two blocks away.
This 900+ square foot unit features accommodations for up to 6 guests (two queen beds and a queen-sized air mattress), central air and heat, a full-sized stackable washer and dryer, a small covered balcony, free cable television, free wireless internet access, wood burning fireplace, and plush furnishings. With granite counter tops, renovated kitchen and bathrooms, flat screen televisions mounted on the walls, and convenient access to the pool, every detail has been considered to make your stay a pleasant one.
A full kitchen comes equipped with an oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, and all of the utensils you need to cook your favorite meals. However, there are so many dining options within a few blocks, you may never use it. A few nearby options include: Fleming's Steakhouse, Fogo de Chao, Piranha Sushi, Vince Young Steakhouse, Backspace, PF Changs, 200 Congress, La Condessa, Lamberts, Swift's Attic, Champions Sports Bar, Parkside, Eddie V's, The Onion, Swift's Attic, La Condessa, Trace, Lambert's, and many (email hidden) comes stocked with glassware, a blender, and all of the bar tools you will need to fix your favorite cocktails while visiting. Just add liquor and mixers and you are all set. The closest liquor store is 2 blocks away.
You will also receive access to free private gated parking for one car (plus a motorcycle or scooter), if you need it. Since you can walk to everything, you might consider taking the Airport Flyer from Austin Bergstrom International for $1 per person. It picks up and drops off in front of the building every 30 minutes, and will save you the hassle and expense of a rental car or taxi.
There is also an outdoor pool area, and one of the most lively neighborhoods in ATX! If you need assistance with tours, transportation services, or anything else, we are here to help.
Guests will have access to the condo complex, the condo, the secured parking area, the pool area, and the best of downtown Austin.
I like to interact with my guests as much or as little as they would like. I am always available (24/7) to answer questions via email, text, or phone, and I enjoy meeting many of my guests. However, I am also very respectful, and allow my guests to determine how much interaction they would like to have. Ever since I setup automatic door locks, there are some guests that I have not ever met in person. Whatever works best for the guest, works fine for me.
I love that the downtown neighborhood is so vibrant, and provides the ability to walk to the best restaurants, bars, shopping, and nightlife in Austin. The Railyard is in a unique location that is hard to beat. I also appreciate the convenient access to Town Lake for hiking and biking trails, among other things.
In addition to the Airport Flyer that I already mentioned, there are also pedicabs, taxi cabs, light rail, horse-drawn carriages, limousines, and other forms of public transportation within a block that can be easily accessed.
If you are interested in hosting an even larger group, please note that I own and manage a large number of units in the same building complex, as well as some nearby houses. I am happy to host large groups for weddings, convention center trade shows, and other events in Austin.
The rental was great! It was exactly what we expected and worked well for the 5 people we had in our group. Getting in to the condo was simple with the detailed instructions Ryan and his assistant e-mailed to us just a day after the booking. The only glitch was that the sheets in the linen closet were for a twin bed, and they didn't fit the air mattress (which was a double or queen). But a quick message to our hosts got us the correct size sheets very quickly. In the corner bedroom there is noise from the street below, but I used earplugs and then it wasn't a problem. The location was great -- just two blocks from 6th street and central or a short walk to a lot of downtown Austin's highlights. I would definitely recommend this place again. Clean, tidy, convenient, and great communication with the owners/management.

Perfect house in downtown location - we had a wedding in the downtown area and were not only able to walk to all the locations but also the apartment had plenty of needed tools (kitchen, iron) that made (email hidden) for us out of towners! My wife, our friends and I greatly enjoyed our stay. Ryan was terrific to work with and more than happy to help with whatever we needed. The location of the place is near perfect. We were able to walk to all of the different areas of Austin we wanted to visit. We all highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic location and extremely professional hosts. Being so centrally located and having a parking spot made exploring the area easy. The owners went out of their way to provide us with baby gear, which made the trip from New York a lot more manageable with a toddler. Highly recommend.

Really enjoyed the 4th Street & "St. Jac" (as the locals call it) location. In the heart of DT Austin, walkable distance to food, drink and live music. The apartments were very clean and had a great, relaxing atmosphere. I'd be happy to come back and stay again.
Ryan's apartment is centrally located downtown, footsteps away from all the SXSW fun. His home is spacious, cozy and lovely. Ryan was very nice, very communicative, and accommodating. Definitely recommend his place to visitors of Austin.
