This gorgeous, sunny suite has everything you need! Located in a former hotel ideally located between Great Barrington, MA and Hudson, NY. Close to Lenox, MA, and Millerton and Chatham, NY. Placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2010. Walk to shops, restaurants and brewery. A Cidery and a Cooperage are a short drive. 3 mi to Zipline and Aerial Park. 2 mi to Taconic Ridge. 6 mi to Bash Bish Falls. 6 mi to Copake Lake. Full service grocery and liquor stores across the street.

The space
This suite is located on the 2nd floor of a historic Victorian called the Mount Washington House. This suite has been completely upgraded with new windows and large bathroom with 4ft shower. The suite includes a sitting area, a table for dining and a closet. The house has many common areas to enjoy as well as a great porch and multiple patios, and large backyard with picnic tables. This room is suitable for short and long term stays. Kitchenette is down the hall. Public EV charger next door. Ample parking available.

I’m the proud steward of the historic Mount Washington House, a landmark 1881 Second Empire Victorian in the heart of Hillsdale, placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2010. My parents purchased it in 1972 and lovingly operated it for nearly 50 years, most notably as a beloved neighborhood bar and boarding house. Today, I’m honored to continue its legacy by welcoming guests to experience its history, charm, and warm hospitality.
