Great cabin! The pictures of the view don't do it justice. The place was nicely appointed, with all the comforts of home. The hot tube was heated up and ready to go when we arrived. The road up to the place was a bit scary, but if that's the price you have to pay for the view, then so be it!
The cabin is of the highest caliber in terms of furnishings, kitchen equipment, bathrooms, washer/dryer, etc. It is spacious and airy and easily accommodated five people including two couples and an adult grand daughter. The kitchen, with its large central island, is fun to cook in, and the large dining table was great. The views are inspiring and give you scenery of the hills that surround the Sonoma county wine region. The road up to the cabin is steep, and we had to shift our jeep rental into four-wheel drive to make it comfortably to the cabin. The beds were very comfortable and the linens clean and new. The cabin is very private, and we didn't hear any neighbors except a dog that barked occasionally. Cell phone reception is very unstable so a land line is valuable. The wireless internet seemed also to be unstable with occasional times when it was not possible to access certain web sites. All in all, the cabin is a wonderful place for a long weekend in wine country.
My friends and I loved our stay here. It was clean, spacious, quiet, and had beautiful views. We really enjoyed the outdoors spaces (hot tub, fire pit, grill), and loved the fact that the cabin felt secluded but was still conveniently situated in wine country. We spent a lot of time at the wineries and town just north of the home. Would recommend this cabin to others.
This place is amazing. We had the most wonderful time. We felt really like we were out in nature, yet it was so close and convenient to everywhere we wanted to go in Sonoma! Also it was so clean and warm that it could not have been a better vacation.
Pamela was super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed to get to the cabin. The cabin itself exceeded all expectations! Perfect: super quiet, beautiful sunset view from the hot tub, crystal clear view of the stars at night, little paths to go for walks. The attention to detail in this place was excellent.
The kitchen was perfect for people who like to cook. Really just perfect for four people.
We will absolutely be coming back here!
(The knives were in desperate need of sharpening, so if you're planning on cooking a lot, bring a wetstone or your own knives! :) )
The cabin was great, and true to the pictures. It has a great deck that overlooks a beautiful valley. Nearly all of the cabin windows have beautiful views. We took advantage of the propane bbq and the 4-seat jacuzzi, both worked great. The cabin is very private -- up a hill and tucked against a mountainside. We felt completely secluded, which was great. The walking path was very short, but adorable.
Check in was easy, and the guest handbook was helpful.
Place was amazing and very comfortable! Pam was more than helpful. Would definitely come back!
