Skyline studio is newly renovated on the top floor of a 100 year old residential building. It's a cozy retreat in winter and a dream in summer when you can open the skylights and sleep directly under the stars. The friendly ambience and great views make it worthwhile to climb about 100 stairs. You have your own entrance and keys, perfect privacy and all amenities you need for a short stay.
Please let me quote a guest: "Great new developing neighborhood part of Frankfurt. This is the best possible distance from the main train station Frankfurt HBF...just a 10 minute walk through a park..past a police (email hidden)d you're at this little housing row in a quiet cul-de-sac. Lots of families and kids are at the playground right out front. One block from the Main river waterfront and theres some new cafes and restaurants right there which are very cute...also a grocery store 2 blocks away. For river front access and a great skyline view of the city along with ease of city access...all walkable...this is a great location and a really cute space."
Reduce your carbon footprint:
LED and halogen lighting, efficient appliances (A++) and a condensing boiler reduce energy consumption. As of march 2014, Skyline Studio will be powered completely with green energy.

Everything about the stay was perfect. Thanks again Rainer!
Its a wonderful place, near the nice river and the train station. Was a fantastic studio to spent a weekend, all was clean and nice.
Absolut empfehlenswert!
Es war sauber, gemütlich und absolut zentral.
Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen und das Beste war das Hanuta auf den Handtüchern :o)
We only had one night in Rainer's lovely apartment, but we wish we could have stayed longer. It immediately felt like home due to his attention to detail and welcoming touches. The bed was comfortable and it was wonderfully quiet despite its central location. Rainer was great to deal with as well. Highly recommended!
Thanks for all. Your home are comfortable, clean, i love the apartment. You are really a nice host. You helped us alot. I recommended your service if someone wants to go to Frankfurt in the future. Is just a perfect experience.
Very nice stay. Clean, warm, comfortable and really close to the centre (just 1-2 bus stops from the Hauptbahnhof...). Rainer was very kind and helpful and you can easily reach him at any time. If I'll come back to Frankfurt I'll make sure to book here!
This flat was good. It takes about 10~15 mintues to go to Hauptbahnhof. There are many restaurants, shops and supermarkets. There are so many steps (approximately 100) to reach the flat. I think it was a good experience.
Wonderful stay. Best ever, after 3 pror airbnb stays.
Rainer is a gentle, generous host. I stayed a week and upon arrival, I found a fresh quart of orange juice in the fridge, just for me! .
This is a loft apartment, atop a 5th floor apartment. 96 steps up and 96 steps down. The skyline views capture the feel of Frankfurt's city center! With 4 very happy plants under a skylight in the living room area, and two more gatherings of miniature trees and bushes both outside the door and on the landing, nature is present, even in the heart of the city. The appointments are really great. The bed futon was firm, the pillow was soft, the sheets were fresh and clean, there was no odor in the apartment save that of laundry soap as in the bathroom are a washer/dryer as well as a full size tub/shower. The living room floor is hardwood, there are hot water space heaters in the bathroom and bed areas. There's a stove and refrigerator and kitchen sink and drying rack, and a cabinet with plates, cups, glasses and silverware.
If you're visiting from another continent, don't forget to bring your electricity adaptor!
The neighborhood is fun, especially if you'd like to see how the Iranian and Mid-Eastern Germans live and relate. At first, I was a bit afraid as I was ignorant of what I'd encounter, and then, after seeing who's there, I was completely comfortable walking the streets at literally any hour, be it very early or near midnight. There's effectively no crime in Rainer's neighborhood.
I'd stay there again in heartbeat. An outstanding, memorable experience. Thank you, Rainer.
We very much enjoyed our stay at Rainer's skyline studio over New Years in Frankfurt. The view of the fireworks was superb!
The apartment is very cute and located walking distance from the main station. The bed was comfortable and the studio was perfect for a short stay but not so recommended for a longer duration as there are only basic cooking facilities. However there was minibar and microwave with definitely came in handy, as well as a lovely clean bathroom with bathtub.
Rainer is an incredibly kind and generous host who will go out of his way to make you feel welcomed. He not only helped us with carrying our luggage upstairs and left treats on the pillow, he also provided us with tray of snacks and a bottle of champagne with a lovely message outside our door on New Years eve. He definitely exceeded our expectations of an AirBnB host and would recommend the apartment to anyone who is visiting Frankfurt.
