We chose to stay here for the end of our trip and it was a great stay and perfect place to unwind and rest before going back home to NZ. The room was serviced every day which was a treat it also included breakfast. The house is in the country, very quiet and surrounded by olive trees and grape vines. Great secure parking and very friendly staff. Very close to Orvieto and Bagnoregio for day visits and restaurants. We also (email hidden) experience with Lorenzo at Zeppelin Restaurant - highly recommended. A great place to stay.
The house which is comprised of several private apartments is quaint. There is ample outdoor space for eating or lounging. The pool is nearly deserted. The breakfast each morning is ample and the lady who works the front desk will make you an espresso or cappuccino on the spot. The property is located in the country, but an easy drive to Orvieto for dinner. Porano is really small and has only 1 or two dining options. The apartments are cleaned daily which is unexpected and nice surprise. Guests have access to the other "hotel" and pool in Orvieto, which is a great perk as the La Rocca pool is stunning and set on a hill overlooking their vineyard. Despite the lack of air conditioning the apartment itself was relatively cool. Wifi worked well. I had a really relaxing time here and would recommend the accommodations and location. Be warned, Sabrina can take an extended period of time to return messages and emails (possibly an understatement), which was my only qualm with my stay as I was looking for a pair of misplaced vintage sunglasses that had sentimental value and asking for a late checkout after the reception woman had gone home on my final night.
This house its amazing, just like the pictures!
Everything its really organized, the breakfast its really good and I would definitely recommend! Was excellent!
I would highly recommend this place, if you are looking for a nice and peaceful place to stay. The apartment is great and has everything you need. Simply a great place in an amazing setting. A great pool and a lovely big garden. The host was very helpful and friendly.
We had a lovely stay at L'Uva e le Stelle. If you want peace and tranquility, this is for you. Fantastic location, lovely apartment and beautiful pool - just like the photographs.
This isn't really a classic Airbnb property - no one lives in the apartments apart from tourists and the complex is run by paid staff. That means the kitchen is completely bear (you'll have to bring your own salt and pepper) and you won't get the experience of getting to know local people if that's what you're after. Don't get too exited about the free breakfast, either - it's convenient but very basic indeed.
But if you want to stay somewhere really beautiful, near some great towns, swim in a gorgeous pool and sleep like a baby, this is definitely for you.
