  • Absolutely lovely apartment and room. Very clean and great location. Although we were so busy and didn't really get to see Raquel, she made sure that we were ok on a regular basis by text and had someone waiting to show us around when we arrived. Hope to be able to stay with Raquel in the future!

  • Had a great week in NYC at Raquel's place. Location was awesome, easy access to subway to midtown and only a short hop to Brooklyn.

Room was awesome, great size and clean and Raquel and her team really looked after me. A very easygoing, laid back hostel kind of vibe..

    Will be coming back soon..

  • Raquel's loft was absolutely beautiful, I really enjoyed my stay there. The bedroom was really spacious and comfortable, and I felt genuinely welcomed. Great location too, right near Chinatown and soho. Highly recommend staying there if you visit NYC!

  • We had a lovely time in the Orange room. A lot of space, very good location and a very friendly host. The bathroom facilities were cleaned daily so there was nothing to remark to the room.
We stayed 7 nights while visiting NY. When we wanted to walk we were very close to lower Manhattan with a lot of lovely restaurants, when we wanted to go uptown we took the subway only 5min away.

Do be aware, the loft is located in a vibrant neighbourhood so there is some noise from the street. However earplugs are provided free of charge if you should need them.

  • Wonderful - don't even think twice. Super lovely people. The whole place smells delicious and I was very happy taht all the toiletries ect were eco-tatsic! It's in the heart of LES and China town. The room is toasty warm - huge window that feels like you're living in a painting. It's a bit noisy as it should be in the hub of NYC - there are ear plugs gracefully provided and the blinds block out all the light.

Love it will be back for sure. Walked everywhere, great breakfast and donner sport right around the corner - or 15-20 mins walking up to soho or 30 mins across to chelsea, or across the bridge to brooklyn.

  • This was a great place to stay and I certainly recommend it to anyone looking for accommodations in NYC. We were in town for the marathon and wanted to stay in the Lower Eastside. Raquel's place is just a short walk to the subway. Enjoyed the Chinatown and Little Italy areas with plenty of restaurants to visit. The actual room is huge. Very clean. It was quiet in terms of interaction with other quests staying in the loft. I will mention that the room fronts on a busy thoroughfare, so you will hear a decent about of road noise during the night, but that's probably the case throughout NYC. Overall, it's a great place to stay.

I'm from Brazil and have been living in New York for 5 years. I'm a Performance Artist. A traveller myself I'm glad to offer spacious and comfortable bedroom in my loft apartment, at the Lower East Side, one of the best neighborhoods in the city. I've travelled all over South America, Europe and United States exploring so many cities and getting so much joy on knowing so many different people and making friends all over. I'm more than happy to share some good New York tips for the perfect experience. Best! Raquel
