Wild Orchard Guest Farm was built in the 1700s and was one of two farms on a 300-acre parcel. The guest house is the property's original farm house and has been lovingly restored and furnished with early American antiques and fine American crafts.
The Nellie Bly Room is our only bedroom on the first floor and has a handmade cherry pencil post bed, bathroom with shower and original decorative fireplace.
Nellie Bly was a 25-year-old journalist when she began a journey around the world on November 14, 1889, to prove that it could be done in 80 days. She did it in 72! She departed by steamship from Hoboken, NJ, and her travels took her through England, France, Egypt, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong and Japan. Our Nellie Bly room is dedicated to the traveler in all of us!
Guest are invited to relax in the living room, use of the dining room and kitchen is available and the hot-tub, situated on the outside terrace is always available for my guests. Bathrobes are provided.
