I cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough. Adam and Chris were so welcoming and made both me and my two furry friends feel right at home. It is very difficult to find accommodation with two small dogs and my dogs normally growl etc. at strangers, but they did not growl at all at Adam or Chris, which was amazing. My two dogs were made so welcome.
My hosts even made me brekky on Sunday and offered me dinner on my arrival on Saturday. They went out of their way to make sure we had a great weekend. They even took me to a free African drumming class on Sunday and to the markets, Art Gallery and bazaar (because I was on my own). I had no idea that Bribie Island was so creative with such an artistic community.
It is the first time my dogs had been to the beach and the nearby Woorim dog beach was great!
This has to be one of the best weekends away I have ever had and I am so thankful to my hosts for making us feel so welcome and for showing me around, which was way beyond the call :)
The pool area is like a resort (and it is in Adam and Chris's backyard!!!). The room had a very comfortable double bed with yummy pillows and a very clean, private bathroom :)
Adam even taught me about all these Australian bands I hadn't heard of, so it was just terrific to come away with all these new experiences. I travelled on my own, so I was very happy for the company, but I know that you could go there and chill out on your own and do your own thing as well.
Thank you so much Adam and Chris - we will definitely be coming back :)
Adam and Chris were very friendly and I felt very welcome - a home from home! I borrowed a bike while I was there which was a great way to explore Bribie Island and there's a pretty path beside the beach which is 5 minutes cycle from the house. It's very peaceful at the house and the room is very comfortable. I'd recommend it as a good base to do some exploring to the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast and I would definitely stay there again!
The house and the room was nice and they made an effort to make sure my son felt welcome to chat and enjoy his time there.
I booked the accommodation for my brother-in-law and his partner so am unable to give the appropriate feedback. The only thing I can say that it was easy to book and the payment was also easily made.
Chris and Adam were very pleasant and attentive hosts, opening their house and kitchen to us. They provided plenty of useful information what to do on the island.
The room has a comfortable queen sized bed; TV and DVD player with heaps of good movies are available in the room.
Private bathroom next to room is great as is a terrific outdoor seating area, mozzy proof...
Adam and Chris were pleasant and welcoming hosts, opening their home like to old friends. We stayed 2 nights, so quiet, good sleep, clean bathroom - used their kitchen to prepare all our meals. Good balance between privacy and time together. Loved early mornings at the beach - good bird watching areas. Bribie Island is worth a visit!
We only stayed one night, but found that Christine and Adam were welcoming and friendly and gave us good advice about places to see on Bribie. A very quiet, peaceful spot, with a bedroom and bathroom that were clean and attractive and had everything we needed.
